It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Hilcrest is located between Highland Park and The Ford Plant on Ford Parkway. There is a library and community center on the grounds - as well as tennis courts,

hockey rinks and baseball diamonds. They have a hill for sledding with fences all around (to keep you from getting to close to the action?)

Anybod got an idea on where Saint Francis fits in? Also where is triangle park? Iconoclast fits the capitol if the clues were written after Nov. 4th i.e. post-Jesse.

Helmut - they built the new center around the old library.

For those of you who are currently dictionary challenged, Websters defines "iconoclast" as a person who attacks cherished beliefs, traditional institutions.

iconoclast is a person who attacks cherished beliefs or traditional institutions. I think looking at war memorials is reading a bit too far into it. I'm wondering about this

st. francis thing - he denounced wealth. any thoughts?

the first letter in each of the clues spell out st. francis so far, with a left over "a" . now that might be a stretch, since that is how they identified battle creek in 95, but

right now, i'm looking for anything.

And by Palace Playground, it's a church, specifically St. Francis De Sales - St. Francis of Sales was an iconoclast. Looked it up. Any significance, though?

Leah - the clue reads as follows: Somewhere in here there's a clue quite clear If you think first of trees in a line From this a name will appear

My thinking is that the name is in the clue - because it is quite clear - true - I have been having random thoughts all night - but what if we took the punctuation out -

are there any names? I can make out Theresa and Toft but that's about it.
