I've been talking to friends of mine in Canada. They're very concerned. They've been reading in their papers about the social spiit between urban and surburban/rural Americans that seemed to come out in this election. They say it's not like that in Canada. Provinces like Quebec and British Columbia seem to have strong liberal populations in both the urban and rural areas.
If it's posslbe that one group are intellectual elitists, could another group be moral elitists?

Here is a moral dilemma for the republicans. As we all know, Adam and Eve were the first ones and the only ones on the earth. They had kids and at some point Abel and Caine get married and have children. We are the children of that first marriage that took place some 6000 years ago according to the Bible.  For them to get married, they ought to have married their own sisters (as in the Book of Jubilee). Now the children of incest say no to any union that does not include a man and woman who are strangers.  Isn't that strange?   Â
