Ok.. here my first real opinion on this hunt..... I don't believe they want to hide it in the woodline anywhere. It's going to be out in the open somewhere.
well considering the damage to the woods the last couple years... Seems like a good idea. Course last time they had it out in the open it was found on the 1st week, and there hasn't been much snow cover the last few years (at least at the start of the hunt).
If not a woodline area, possibly it'll be in a grasslands area, assuming one they're not worried about gettin trampled. Perhaps they'll go back to a dirt/clay/grass mix to conceal the medallion again?

Well this year I'm looking for the most dangerous, tree fallen down, piece of crap unmaintain part of a park and i'm starting there...... i'm thinking the sw corner of Highland.
I agree with the staying stationary idea-they dont want this coin to move this time around! -Also looking at the map just re-inforces my thoughts on BC, Highland or out of St Paul-Central.
Ian, did you get any old medallion coords while out lookin? lol probably not I'm thinkin. I still gotta get out and workin on em. Thanks me2, I'm hoping it'll be a lot better when I have all the medallion locations on it. It'll be simple to go by city and then by park afterwards.
Meanwhile far away in another part of town Reuben Carter and a couple of his friends are driving around. The number 1 contender for the middle-weight crown, had no idea what kind of shit was about to go down.
sooo I spent most of my afternoon at the Central Library- I was just getting ready to leave when I listened in on a conversation of one librarian asking another about the Winter Carnival File. ear perks: I knew what file they were requesting so I am not worried -it has print outs of many years hunt clues and the meanings of those clues from the coolercrew.com website -hahahahahaha
There was an article in the St Paul paper a couple of days ago about the ST PAUL COLLECTION -a special area in the library-the idiot who wrote the article mentioned that you could find information of the Winter Carnival there-
That's the file I would check out each year until thew internet became available. I know it well. I usually had to share with the same two people each year. One of them actually found the thing a year before I started.
sooo whats the deal- tax on buttons? anyone else get taxed???Â
Cooler! I still have my old one from last year in the back window of my Jeep!
I am not sure if I can do the bumper stickers this year, no money for ink=(
We were interviewed for the film 4 times or so... dunno if they'll have used any of it at all..
Hey hey ya'll - it looks like Zephy posted on the PP site!!!
He seems to be in excellent spirits judging from his *profile* I especially like the favorite food: Racoon with a side of green donut.
Hmm.. might haveta show up and get one of those window clings if they become available.
Green is in the house! Now I KNOW it's getting close!
I think the medallion is going to be either at Phalen golf course or on the ice of the Missippi off of Harriet Island.
Fair Grounds or Capitol....
Tic Toc Tic Toc.....
Coo, Malley! I gots here LATE! Judge snot by me the clock ticking down!
Oh. Wait a minute... Let me rethink that. I *usually* get here late...
Oh! I get it. Otay! Nebber mind! :D

Can't be with this amount of snowfall.
Not just out... hidden under or in something... but not in the woods....

Or a dipper=)
then again there's that old hole up in IM that someone used to live in... might just toss it up there?
I just get this feeling they don't want it to move. Possibly stuck to or under something.....
lesse.. will raccoons eat a dead raccoon? btw Joe!

If you guys take pics during the hunt of funny things like that send them to me ... I'll post them.. or I can just grab them off of here I suppose....
I knew the first time I saw that Raccoon was going to be come something of a cliche. Just like at Como and the squirrel the year before.

mucluck and I checked out 7 parks yesterday. Didn't find anything but a pack of cigarettes and some almond bark at Tony Schmidt.
If it's already out there, and on the ground, we'll need ice choppers.

I agree with Kitch. Then again.....
1. Register
2. Clip and save clues
3. Find Treasure
4. Collect $10,000
It's just that easy!
