whoohoo, Fresh B-Rex caches! Course I don't need any of those buttons, sos I'll just go and find em.
Â
OTS if you want to go along and find one or two of those caches, let me know, I can go in the AM this week, before 10
Possibly.... Friday.... Let me make sure... I get off work at 8 so i'll be in St Paul already.
I have a few extras. The 1969 is $4.00 and the others are $3.00
I know I have an extra 1937. It's interesting you don't need 1966. That was the last one I needed to complete my collection. (1937-present)
Ian you could pretty much plan on me wanting the ones you have that i don't lol. If you feel like parting with that 37 let me know what your asking price is.
Hey Ian, I got a 66, lil indent on the front but otherwise in good shape, all yours if ya want it.
I've come to accept that most of my buttons... at least the first ones I get are not going to be anywhere near perfect. I saw a 1916 on ebay for 129.00 and it was even a little beat up.
here's the other ones I got extras on, let me know what strikes anyone's
fancy
1980
1981
1982
1984
1985
1987
1996
2002 (Full Set)
2004s
<except 2004 ice palace)
There may be others, I'll have to look, but that's what I know for sure
I don't have extras... so you guys will have to work out something on the level of other barter or cash. If thats the case figure out what you might ask for them.
Ian I'll take the 1969
KC0GRN I'll take the 1980, 1981, 1987, 2002 (Full Set) and your 2004's I have the 2004 and 1941 palaces. I need the other two.
KC0GRN I have an extra 2004 (2004 palace) button if you want it.
mrmnmikey is bringing a handful of buttons to the PDG as well.
Sounds good, I figure ya might not have too much in trade OTS, but I'll figure a fair price on the lot, and I'll trade ya the two 2004s you need for that 2004/2004 ice palace one.
I'd happily trade my entire collection for one authentic winter carnival Medallion. Lol!
KC0GRN that would be great. Just let me know.
If Ian doesn't want the '66, what would the price be?

JOE!!!Â

Ian wants to look at it.
Hmm, well it looks fine, you haveta scrutinize to see it's got an indent. Ian you gonna be at the get sauced event next tuesday? I can bring it then.
Yep, in fact I took the next day off work, just in case.
I got a few I was gonna post on EBay this week- Ill post them here first -This is a great time to have them on EBay cause they start selling now through mid Feb.
I'll be waiting Me2
hahaha -I am just to damn lazy to lean over and look in the BOX right now!
It's ok I do the same thing....you can have us bid here too lol...
I just looked at mine, and I have a bunch I forgot about. I'll try to go through them sometime.
I don't need the 1966. I must have gotten an extra one last year on eBay.
heh....all kinds of people taking next weds off!
I got a bunch that I am willing to part with.....too many things to collect, so shoot me I love the hunt but the buttons oh well. Â
I have 96 to present. missing one 2001. Must have lost it in the park that year. I will bring them to the PDG.
mucluck That great... I will just have to bring my list...
I am just to damn lazy to lean over and look in the BOX right now!
I don't think I've ever been THAT lazy. I'll look in the box any time day or night. Heck, even thinking about me2 looking in the box gives me energy. ;-P

Or me2 leaning over...
The button thread is talking about Me2 looking in her box.........
LOL!!
I'm really interested in the 99s and 2000 sets, that would complete all the 4 button years for myself now.
This might start a little button rumble in the crew for those who haven't collected... to maybe start?
I expect if some others started, trading might get a little easier. All the extras I got were from groupings I bought on ebay. Might get harder though on those newer 4 button sets though, they rarely show up on there, and are usually bidded on more. but I won't get into a bidding war on here. I expect first come first served usually fits the bill. No hard feelings or anything anyway.

If someone needs it... then I'm cool with letting them have it. Right now I want to get a basic set. Once I do that then I can worry about getting better quality for the ones I already have. My 1940's buttons are pretty beat up. But they are mine and I think they are pretty cool.
So, what's the '66 going for?
Was given an '88 today. Free for nuttin'.
What's a '55 worth? A fiend asked me to find out. Thanks!
I'm not sure, I'd guess... 5 bucks on the 66 should be fine.
55s go for somewhere between 5-15 (depending on how good of shape they're in, I believe they're all tin, and get banged up easily, add 50 plus years of wear and tear on em, and one in good shape is gonna be tougher to find).
Hey OTS, any word on Friday AM? I figure Hit a BRex cache and swap those 2004s, plus I can get ya those other ones.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2036&item=6143877245&rd=1
I think thats one of my favorte buttons. I paid 6 bucks to a nice little old lady who sold it to me in the middle of the mall in Roseville.
I agree OTS, that was a cool button. Wish they'd do something like that again.
93's wasn't too bad either. Oh and I'm tradin some coins for a 93 BRex token. Person is more interested in coins than the hunt, so they don't care :)
Can somebody create a one-page text document checklist of years?
1916, 1917, 1937-2005a-2005b-2005c-2005d
http://websports.8m.com/checklist.html
I'll play around with this, or help yourself.
Oh, I forgot to mention I also have a few Vucanus Rex Buttons, if anyone is interested.......Scribe?
