It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Common - Think I haven't! Have you been reading these ideas people have? Obviously, pioneerplanet takes the smart, the stupid, the rich, the poor, blah blah blah.
Hopefully I can find this medallion and you can slap me on the back.
they dont hide it until days before the hunt begins... they know where they will hide it well in advance though... it takes a while to write clues that make 25% of Mn
I hate to inform you all but its in my front yard..! My address is 1008 and if you ad them up you get 9! and then subtract 1 from 8 3 times you get 5 then once more
its 4!...That and there is a line of 2 trees in my yard that line u with the road sign that is the name of the street that is famous. I'm going diggin!
from my window i can see montreal. it isnt very busy on this end . people were searching more toward montreal and snelling. close to the tennis courts and the round
Hello! Back from Conway! It has to be there. Everything fits without stretching any clues to fit. The deal is there is lots of snow left to move. I think this could go
Reagalman - you must be speaking from experience because I've heard you frequently have a big pain in your ass! Your mom sure knows how that feels! Think she
well, I was thinking some of the numbers match, the library is there, as is the "score" for an orchestra performance. You may be able to see the red first bank tower
neon. I have not been there, but is that not where the ice sculptures are? Talk about translucent stuff, there would be lots of ice. Then, maybe you can see Galtier
Plaza, and doesn't that have the windows way up high? That could fit the translucent peak. Besides, who would think Rice park, right in the middle of everything? I
dunno, it was just a thought before I read anything about conway.
It has to be Conway
If they do hide it in October some kid probably found a baseball or softball and brought it home.If that's what it is in.
Except conway is not a park
IT HAS TO BE CONWAY!!!!
I think they'd wait till there was reasonable amount of snow till the hid it.
Man of fame= Missisippi river :)
As of 12:15 a.m. Monday, the medallion has NOT been found. If you go th PioneerPlanet Frontpage, it gives periodic updates at the bottom of the page.

Yes LJ. I'm going to disagree though. I know of a single glowing translucent peak that isn't Sunray Center.
I am still having problems with Conway not being a bonafide park, and what is the covered quarry? No one seems to be discussing that
hey brian s... i think we may be on the same path... is the peak from a church nearby???
Sorry Jason... nice creativity though!
I'll slap you on the back and have a heater--i think the Kaplan Bros. took the medallion and hid it in a pair of Carhardts...lol
good diggin jason maybe we should all come over and help?
No. Sorry Barton notta church either.
the first definition of quarry is a diamond shaped pane of glass
quarry = thing of pursuit it is covered with something
Okay Brian then what else could it be????
BRAIN WHAT IS THE TRANSLUCENT PEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A quarry is something being hunted, and covered- well that's obvious.
DD - are you sure you don't work for butt glider? (it's a chocolate factory). Think it isn't?
I'm thinking Rice Park!
Jason, I was thinking that too. No use convincing these people though.
from my window i can see montreal. it isnt very busy on this end . people were searching more toward montreal and snelling. close to the tennis courts and the round
running track.
Barton--the translucent light isnt the church steeple--its the other light
I still think it could be at Newell.....red object=space needle
I'm thinking where in Conway is the little piece of $hit
DaBrew Man - Apparently so do alot of other people in this chat room!
You seriously think its at Rice park caver?
Superstar I shouldn't even be giving you the attention, like you want, but you're a pain in the ass you know that
Common - Hello! Am I still coming on tommorow night for a little Common Condensed? 6to7.
ill put my money on highland
How long were you out there tonight Barton?... we just got back

down to the wire.
I'd put my life on Conway
Terry, good to see a serious person in this thing.
you bet--we'll talk about a little dis and a little of dat--have a heater and kick Barreiro's butt....
I really bet they do
how many clues do they give
Reagalman - you must be speaking from experience because I've heard you frequently have a big pain in your ass! Your mom sure knows how that feels! Think she
doesn't?
Alot of these clues point to the Capital Mall. Is that considered a park??
I was also wondering if there is a St Francis Park anywhere in St Paul
If so, where is it????
Terry what is the 954 at Conway??

Regalman - I best be serious about this. This is the 29th year we've been hunting.
Whoever it was that pointed out that orient meant east - good thinking! I hadn't thought of that.
