That was funny last year when that guy "got everyones attention" and announced the time and the fact that we were the "hardcore" hunters!
I'm glad you appreciated that. I try and do that every year if there's more than 50 people still digging after 3AM - It kinda gives everybody a second wind. Including myself. (not to mention that the Snapps is kicking in around that time)
Employees and immediate family members of Knight Ridder, all contest sponsors and partners, and the St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation are not eligible.
Maybe I'm just in a panic. Comcast is sponsoring the ice carving this year. Bust that would make them a sponsor of the St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation not a contest sponsors and partner.
Dunno... but I volunteer'd last year at the Ice Palace, which was run by the heritage foundation, and I was still eligible..... I made damn sure of that, before I even signed up for it.
I checked into it when I worked at St. Paul Companies (who are annual sponsors) and was assured that employees not directly involved with the Winter Carnival committee were exempt.
I'd just be happy to get a picture with the finder this year Dave. (you'll allow a shot of the two of us won't you?)Â Although, if the Vikes beat Philly, I will be a bit more optimistic.
How bout you?

Im gonna get killed for sayin this, but I'll prolly be rooting for philly... seeing as how my homeboy thomas tapeh plays for em. (okay... he's not reallymy homeboy... but I DID sit next to the dude in spanish class, for 4 years)
I heard zephys having problems getting in here. That sucks! I think it may be because Lance Brown is on strike. He's the big cheese around PF and he's upset because of some fundraising stuff. Hopefully he'll get it straitend out soon. Hang in ther Zephy
I got the official word on my work scheduale for the week of the 23rd. I work sun-23rd and mon-24th and then I'm done forever! (maybe). Rest of the hunt is free anyway. Cant wait till tuesday-25th at 7am!
It is funny that you mention Lance being on strike because of some fundraising stuff...
I have been waiting for a while to get re-validated, and I was slogging through all kinds of posts when I realized that this place isn't really free....
So I made a donation last night (last night to me is 9 hours later than you) and I came on here this morning, and it works
I found a really warm jacket at the army surplus store on white bear ave yesterday, I think they wanted like $70.00 for it, was black with fur in the hood, kinda like the ones people wear in alaska. Savin' up for that for next year :)
Bummer :)
SCRIBEY IN DA HOUSE!
What? Where?
Shit. Don't tell her I'm here.
Hey OTS, the walmart in vadnais heights had snowpants on clearance a week or so ago, I got a pair for 12 bucks.

I could use a shot myself to calm this stupid cough down.

Just so long as this crap goes away in 13 days.
yeah, colds and flus are particulary nasty and long lasting this year.
So is that a Hanging Joe... kinda like them "hanging chad" things, from the presidential elections?
OH OH

Think I'm still eligible?

Eh don't worry OTS
< if ya find it and ya aren't, I'll turn it in for ya and split the winnings ;)
HAHA

I think I'm ok... Comcast isn't directly associated with the PP or the hunt.
I checked into it when I worked at St. Paul Companies (who are annual sponsors) and was assured that employees not directly involved with the Winter Carnival committee were exempt.

We're you only logging the finds that you had the exact coordinates for? I see bunch missing. Very cooler nonetheless
I think thats still his work in progress.
