Ok... I'm posting in here since Zeph is reading everything in the other post :)

Treasure Chest and I were just talking more about the stuff we want to do for him. Besides boxes of goodies we wanna get together for him....

She thought about doing something funny... We wanna try and put his head on a cardboard cut out and take him everywhere the crew goes. To the movie, the hunt, the pdg, winter carnival... everything.. and take lots of pics... Kinda be funny and let him know he is with us all in sprit...

ALong with that.... She going to make a few calls to see what kinda "media" push we can get about the CC trying to make this soldier and his unit feel more at home... See if we can get a little more from around town.

ALong with that.... Maybe the Crew can thing of more "winter" and "minnesota" things we can put in those boxes to make them feel at home.

While we can slap hot dish in there...I'm sure we can come up with quite the list.

Video of the Vikings play-off games?  Possibly video of the Super Bowl??

yeah thats what I'm thinking.... i'm going to try and get a big cardboard "body" from work and ESD will see if we can get a big hard made of Jason. (Zeph). Get some pics with us and him at the premere, the pdg the vulcan fire truck etc...

I thought about getting him one of those indoor smores makers... the ones with the Sterno can :)... semd him some basics to play with that ovet there.... just one small idea....

I toss the pics of him on cooler times as we get them... Kind figure CM and his amazing picture taking ability might come into play there. The more pics the better.

I'd also call the St. Paul Saints and possibly the wild, since they're both not doing anything right now...

Hey didn't you mention he joked about wanting a 56 button? The guy I bought some buttons from on ebay seems to sell a ton of old WC buttons, I could see how much a 56 would go for...

whoops, guess he's wanting a 54 now. same rule applies though

I just got an email back from John hines at K102. I told him what were doing. He passed me his personal cell number. Not sure this will go anywhere.. but lets see.

I just had him send it to me. ESD is going to see what he can do to get us a good print out of his head.

Pay Me made a good point. We should see what sorta family he has back here. Maybe there are some things we can do for them as well.

P.S. Calling cards are not really needed. They are in a Signal unit..... phones are not a problem lol.

When my old roommate was stationed at Diego Garcia I sent him some of his Maxim magazines. I believe that's about the same as sending over solid gold, but a lot lighter. hehe

I talked to Hines at K102.  He is very excited about what we are doing.  He gave the suggestion about doing something for his family or get them involved.  He is going to do some thinking about what else we could do and will let us know. 

I am so happy everyone wants to be involved.  Speaking from experience,  when people get together to show their support it is an unbelievable feeling.

THX, when Pay Me talked to John he told her that he remembered Zeph because eh was telling him about the medallion hunt the whole time he was there. He's as stuck on it as we are. Wouldn't surprise me if those are clues :)
