Is that the same as Rice Creek Regional on Long Lake? I was out there a couple of times last year at night and it wasn't locked. I liked that park. It was my pick in the pool.Â
I've worked on such a list myself. Also tinkered with a database of all street names connected ot nearby parks. Haven't done much with it yet, but my idea was to get my roommate to help me make a program that'd analyze a clue, check for anagrams, and try to match anything it finds against a database of street names, park names, and park amenities.
Yes, that's part of the Rice Lake Regional park. There are two sections..north and west. The western park is on Long Lake and there's a RR museum there.

ooooh. i'm in the process of throwing together a database on www.coolercrew.com, to make maintenance of it less work. add in clues, explanations, etc, and turn the whole site into an asp or php script.
The nine county parks are generally lakefront properties offering a variety of outdoor recreation activities, such as boating, picnicking, play areas, and swimming.
well, St. Paul would at least be a good start, but I see no reason to not include the whole county as well.
Might make the databases seperate though, so you can select either St. Paul or the entire county (from a processing standpoint, it'd be a bit faster to search two seperate lists).
This was the free-bee disc that I picked up, comcast was out here on wednesday to hook me back up but of course there was a problem with the disc they gave me so now it's gonna be another day or two, I was really looking forward to it to, this is just slow as hell and it never logs off when I tell it to, and when I do log off I get these stupid errors that screw up my computer so I have to re-booooot the damn thing every time!
soooo if I have comcast cable for the computer cant I split the cable and get cable tv? will that work the other way around? buy cable for the tv and get cable computer?
I can't remember what road we entered from, but seemed to be a main entrance. My daughter was driving, so I didn't have to pay much attention. It was on the east side of the park though I would guess.  Had to drive a ways to get to the lake and passed the caboose before that. It was kind of spooky because we had just had a pretty good snow and the roads hadn't been plowed yet. Thank God for four-wheel. We wouldn't have been found 'til spring.
umm....I'd guess if you have a cableready tv...you could split off from the internet.....I don't think you can do it the other way around...then again ...that just a guess.......i'm not sure....
I know that when you call in with a problem there are two different processes they go through to check your signal, one for TV and one for internet. So I'd say it can't be done.
M2, It depends on the installer. If your installed put a video trap on your drop outside then none of the video signals will make it to your house. The Internet stuff travels at a lower freq so they trap all the higer stuff and still let the phone and internet come through.
If by some chance they didn't do that (big chance) then, yes you can watch tv for free. The problem nowadays is it costs you more to have internet with Comcast and no basic cable then it does just have the basic cable and internet.
And, if you did have a problem sometime that they had to come out to check your cable and they saw what you had done, YOU'D GET THROWN IN JAIL FOR THEFT! Sorry to be a wet blanket. ;)
We had comcast internet at the old house. I did the same thing, split the cable and hooked it to the tv. Free cable! It lasted about 6 months, and then suddenly we only got channel 3 and 4. That was around the time they were starting to switch in digital cable so that may have had something to do with it.
Honestly ... for the most part the cable company has no idea what is going on at your house. You might have something fancy hooked up for your in house entertainment.
Shag? are you coming to the pre-dig?
your avatar looks mean
Lol. This coming from someone that doesnt have one.
Im on vacation.
Nah, I wont be there. its my tradition to not go. I'll probably be at the re-hash though.

But there were no gates both times I was out there and once was after midnight. I think Mr. Mikey was looking out there too.

KC are you doing this for st paul parks? or Ramsey County parks?
hmmm I could be wrong about the gate- it would be right at the entrance turning into the park off of the main street (think it is highway 8?)

Just watch those installers. I turned my back and they drilled right through my carpet and hardwood floor into the basement!!!

But then you don't have "on demand" the best part of cable tv.
Â
Ya missed one of your Joe's back there me2!
if I have comcast cable for the computer cant I split the cable and get cable tv
You won't receive that signal if you don't pay for it from what I understand. Two different bands altogether.

They'd be pretty bored if they did know what is going on at my house anyway.
me2, if you've got the hookup in the house, you can get cable.Â
Â
OTS, I was *told* that. No idea how. I swear.

FWIW:
Sucker Lake does NOT allow geocaching. I don't know that policy would affect a Medallion Hunt?
