Discuss the 2005 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt here.

Several people have brought up the fact about the lines not rhyming and I agree this is interesting. What most interests me is the choice of the word pursuit. Many other words mean the same thing and would lend to rhyming the lines. Another tidbit I find interesting is twice they have told us specifically its in a park, but not specifically a St. Paul Park.
"An expanded trail system, a large-group picnic facility and water play structure are recent improvements at Battle Creek-Indian Mounds Regional Parkin St. Paul. In the early 1980s, the creek had been eroding from heavy rainstorms and additional runoff created by urban development outside the park. The Council spent approximately $900,000 to stabilize the creek and retain its natural character with help from an underground pipe system."
"Battle Creek-Indian Mounds (RP)"
From a MORC newsletter... "[Indian Mounds Park]... is connected to both downtown and Battle Creek Park by a paved trail."
Ittiz in Battle Creek. :D Finally. Before I died.
That's what I got when I registered too, but ares told me my registration was successful. But now when I try to log on it says my user name and pass word are wrong.
you already are, grn_i_grl. alternatively, i can go in and delete everyones accounts who had problems, and they can re-register. among the list of potential problem-havers i can see are:
ot, new daddy, dave young, love4vino, leelabell, mrmnmikey, *mom*, wicked nick, grn_i_grl, and kitch.
let me know if you want me to delete so you can re-attempt registration.
New Daddy- Pike Island is in ramsey, adjoining picnic island is in dakota, and the main body of ft. snelling is in hennepin. But! It is a state park, requiring an entrance fee, so my guess is that it would not be public land. Mornin' Ralph....for the second time today- hee
Someone was saying a little earlier that the use of the word "pursuit" in the last clue bothers them. I'm looking at it and starting to agree. Why not put in a word the just rhymes with "before we moved in"? Either the rhyme scheme ISN'T important, or the word "pursuit" IS important. If we go by the evidence given in the first two clues, we can assume that the ryhyming is important, which leaves us with this word . . .
Frank ... if you really want to know how to hunt your on the wrong site ... none of the Cooler Crew has EVER found the medallion and 2 of the Medallionators have! we are at www.Medallionators.comif you want to know how to find it ... trust me ... they will show you how to dig but we'll show you how to find. What are you interested in?
Â
Â
Oh no, Medallionator Eric never starts any trouble, does he?
Of course Frank.... being that this is the wrong site (according to Medallionator Eric).. you'll be oddly amazed how often you find the Medallionators here.
What equipment works the best for hunting? I am thinking just a regular shovel, since I need one for my place any how. Any other equipment that I should be getting (ex. compass, mase, hunting dogs)
