Tonights Clue

A branch, a lichen, a place made for Hikin',
Is where a prize is earned.
Don't run, helter skelter, seek out solid shelter
With room and wood to burn

Tim just called me with it.

I agree, seems like they are trying to say something with that line besides branch, lichen, place for hikin.

I think this clue is still directing us to a park but not within the park itself.

I do agree ESD.... there is a really good chance... we are wanting it to be Crosby.... and we're going to get the old bait and switch.

Can you think of a word that could be used in place of "branch", "lichen", and "a place for hikin'"?

Wed, 01/26/2005 - 10:27 PM Permalink
KC0GRN

it's funny how you can pick a park you want it to be in, and twist all the clues to make it fit there. Some require less twisting yes, and some seem to fit naturally, some even too naturally...

Of course the writers would love for us to second guess ourselves.  It's part of their evil scheme.

DD - I do believe you are correct.  I can't make those clues fit anywhere else as neatly as they do at Crosby.

kinda sounds like they put it back in the woods for the 3rd year in a row so head to the woods from the shelter

I'm figuring up odds on how many clues this hunt takes. After this clue, I don't see how the hunt can last through the weekend, even if we are chasing a red herring at Crosby.

basically I'm gettin it's in the woods near a shelter.. narrows it down a bit, but that's still some good area to search.
