KT
LL- gettin'll the Joe's today, are you? You deserve them. How's the little roaster? Heh- Just think of when he's 17, and we're still calling him that...
Lil' Roaster is good KT, he's excited about the re-hash, keeps talking about bringing his snowboard for the hill :) Man I can't wait till he's 17! Then he can hunt with me :)
Quick noodle about the RHB I'm thinking that maybe we should abstain from a bonfire while most of the people are there. The smoke tends to hang under the roof, and if there's snow/rain many will want to be under the shelter. Also, the ashes will blow into the food. I don't mind these things, but many will. We have a big Mr. Heater we can put under there, it would help? I hate to say that about the fire- You KNOW how I feel about fires. There's 1 grill down there... We'll need a couple of surge strips. I suppose alot of folks will bail early for the Super Bowl, but some will hang out. I have fixin's for s'mores for a small army, so nobody bring that, ok?
To comment on Soucheray's article today, I don't think he writes the clues. That airport one so does not fit him. Maybe his writing partner, though. And I agree with him on the CSNY thing. A technicality.
To comment on the article about the finders, the downtown post office's last mail pick up is 8 PM. Unless it's 8:01, the post office's were closed is no excuse.
Nick, I'm so glad that you're happy. You've weathered the storm beautifully and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're glad you're you now and not that character, and I personally wish you all the best in your relationship. You two are so cute!
Shoot New Daddy, I liked the post medallion gathering at the fire pit during the mass exodus of people out of Crosby. Especially the ceremonial burning of the clues.
i Shoulda been there RR- IAN - i left a little too soon eh??
Nick - you guys look pretty frickin cute together - treat her right!! :)
b It was a fun hunt this year on many accounts - the best has to be MUCLUC's crew of men tho - fun times with kitch ian and mikey and TC for putting up with us!!
I just may have to do a mock hunt or two this year - the year goes too long not see ing all of you folks!
Shall we get a bunch of us together for "unhappy" hour & a trek to the site? I'm game, and I know Dan will want to go. The RHB seems like I'm too busy to converse with alot of people.
I wish I knew how to reach those women by The Fire who brought down more coffee, water and cookies this weekend- They were a RIOT!!! Hopefully one of them reads this forum. If so, COME TO THE RE-HASH!
He loves playin' with the kids, it's what he does best :) can't keep him in the house most of the time, probably a good thing, at least he's not glued to the TV or video games :)

That's bizarre. Now where did that come from? I never even heard of the the guy until Jackie mentioned she was doing an interview with him. Or did Trent or Jackie say it?
i have to admit i love the city life but i miss being up in da nord land living the small town life and all that it entails, do'in our small little corny hunt over winter jubilee in nisswa and just the homey-ness of it er something...but...this whole experience has made me realize how much it's just the people that make you feel that way. it's only been a little over a week and i feel like i just can't get enough of all of you. also with this experience i got to know one imparticular that i'm hoping, if i could be so lucky, keeps me around even if i get too hopped up on diet coke every once in a while. :) i wouldn't trade in the last week for anything!
i had such an awesome time meeting hunting noodlin and being crazy with all of you i can hardly explain. there are never enough perfect words. i'm already so excited for next year and i definately plan to get in some mock hunting. should help me beef up on st. paul park info as well! i would say more but i'm a business gal and we keep it all short and sweet with a few runons every once and a while. see ya'll soon. lookin forward to some fantabulous future huntage!
I'd like to go into some long story about how great this hunt was.....but I'm not going to do that.......why?.....I'd miss something....
but I do want to thank the cluewriter for letting us all be in the park so early......for putting it an area that basically has one way in and out.....
I loved the fact that almost everyday I hunted in the park I ran into somebody I knew.......
I've always passed up doing the Mock Hunts because I didn't really know  you all that well this year I hope to definately get in on the hunts because I don't know if I could go a whole nother year with out you all.
Â
2 be honest...I honestly think the mock hunts is where I REALLY got to know people!!!!!
anybody reading this ......do them for that reason alone.......
Nothing better then a mock hunt in shorts, white t-shirt's :) , summer nights, and late sunlight.
And AW's hunt....if just that last little break you need right before spring.
LL- gettin'll the Joe's today, are you?

only 5,000 posts in this year's hunt discussion, wasn't the average around 10,000? And where's the 2006 discussion? lol

Can we still call him the little roaster?
Crosby was where he got that name- remember?
Has anyone seen Lilman?
We should get a game of snow softball, or frizbee going down there.
Ahhhh....daylight and still tired. But here.
