the 9,5,4 could be the hours of the rec center.....open mon-sat, 9-5 sunday 9-4. Not quite hung up on Highland,,,

Hours are not posted at Conway, that was my first guess.

I used one everyday for a whole year then I rolled them up into something round and called it a 'good year'

debrew dude, can you say 3m sign? now what about the stupid numbers that adorn the friggin door, there's more to this clue people!

monkee love

I think it would be damn silly for it to be in a condom, but it would certainly be hip. This city is not the hippest, oh I love it but come on let's get real. What if it was in

one of those female condoms? Now that would be cool.

whats up with numbers that adorn a door

Tue, 02/02/1999 - 12:28 AM Permalink

minnehaha does show as 5 on the map in the phone book

maybe its in an edible condom... $10000 and a snack for the lucky lady that finds it

Tue, 02/02/1999 - 12:29 AM Permalink
Jackie Martin

There are no numbers adorning any doors, I'm telling you!

Tue, 02/02/1999 - 12:30 AM Permalink
DaBrewMan

The numbers or address as some people see it represent 94 which is the "door" to Conway park

Minnehaha Ave in St. Paul is Highway 5. I have followed this road to work enough.

How about building numbers on the 3M buildings - I know they have 'addresses'

Yes, highway 94, thank you! Highway 5 is the other door, north of Conway! It makes sense!

Green: if you ever read a map instead of talking out your ass, you would see that Homer St is east of Rankin, south of Hwy 5 and north of Shepard. While I realize

like everyone else that, yes, Conway seems to be the location, you do not to talk down to me just because I'm new to this game. God forbid a new Minnesotan

resident try to enjoy the game and get to know a little about the damn city at the same time. I saw the frog pond for the first time on Saturday while visiting Como,

thanks for asking, jerk!

I agree with those that think the numbers mean I-94 and Co. 5. My Hudson road map has Minnehaha as 5 also. This is just clue number three and it usually does not

go that deep at the beginning. I have notes to myself written on last year's clues to remind me not to look too deep into the clues. Good luck all. I'm heading over to

conway.

I think we all agree its at Conway, wether it be in a male/female condom,sock,balloon...whatever! IT"S THERE! Just get out there and get digging!

Have you guys looked beyond the 3M on the building directly across Wilson from Conway????

There is a MUCH LARGER "large red object" in the sky - and ittiz really IN THE SKY.....

been dug up, the person who finds the medalion is truly a lucky person.

The 3M building accross the street from Conway has the number 304 on it. does this mean anything?

Tue, 02/02/1999 - 12:34 AM Permalink
mykeys

hey Dave, I thought of that too, the building across from the library is a 3m building, but the building number is something like 327....

Some one else suggested Bingo - because of the SHOUT comment.

Pouty Duane... Only my second year, Mr. Sensitive. And, I stand corrected. I never found "Homer" - just Otto's name sake.

Ego's don't work here. You'd do better to lose yours, loosen up, relax and try to assist instead of tear down.

I'm wondering Minnihaha izz a "county" 5, vs. a "state" 5????

Look for the red 3M WAY, WAY up in the sky - on the main building at the campus - ittiz near the water tower. Remember... the clue said "large" object. Don't

think they mean the 3M on the building across Wilson.

Will be out to meet my daughter and son-in-law later. The unfortunate part about this years hunt is I have to work until 2:00 A.M. See you there.

Hey Goldigger, Don't you think that clue #3 is too early to be that specific about the spot? It would be a change from the pattern of the clues in the past. The last

several years clue #3 vaguely referred to the area not the specific spot.???

I still don't buy the I-94 & 5 (Minnehaha) explanation. The clue said nine and a five and somewhere a 4. Why wouldn't it be nine and a four and somewhere a five?

There has to be some other explanation, excluding the "players on a team" explanation, which I also don't buy.
