They storm into a place, surround you and then move on to the next person. When you complain, your told, oh hey, it's all in fun. No harm. And they're the Vulcan's, kind of hard to fight the system. Your in a setting where people are drinking and you're made to look like the fool if you complain.
I've spent a lot of time around the Vulcan's. They're very visable in SSP both during the Carnival and during Kaposia Days. I had a daughter who lived next door to McGoverns. She dealt with them a lot. That's their home base.
So they're asking for it?? That's why Niki left the job. The guy who owns the place insisted they dress like that. I'm sure she's pleased that her picture was still on his website over a year after she quit.
Because they were told to by their boss. And do we know that the first girl had time to even say anything to the others? It happens pretty fast. I guess we'll find out in court.
I don't think these girls feel "stupid" about keeping themselves safe. They have to tell guys everyday to back off. They have to deal with stalkers and perverts daily.
These girls are obviously not shy or introverted. I will not make the claim they are stupid or fell stupid...they are strong women.
Call me old fashioned, but these girls are probably very innocent/nieve and don't realize that in our society, they are going to encounter trouble dressed like that. The owner/managers just uses em to get dirty old men into their bars.
I was a waitress twice in my life. Once in a miniskirt and once in a uniform. Men didn't seem to respect me when I was in that skirt (and in retrospect, I wasn't respecting myself either).
Oh, whatever! The girls are looking for a job. They find out it's not to their liking and they leave. That's what she did. And the instances I'm talking weren't waitresses in a bar dressed in skimpy uniforms.
So I checked it out. I didn't even know they had a web-site.
