Yeah.  We just learned about him.  Very controversial guy.  I'd never looked at his work - never got around to it - but from what I'd learned, it just jumped out at me that was prolly his work.

Mapplethorpe (1946-1999) did gay lovers in graphic poses.  Many critics liked his work because of the dramatic intensity and the esthetics of the human form.  But... his lifestyle may have caused some galleries to reject his work.

It was because of ol'Bob and his work the NEA (Nat'l Endowment For Arts) came up with their 'decency clause' where "the element of decency should be considered when we award public money" because the NEA's grants to artists came from tax dollars.  And not all tax payers liked Bob's work.  Catch-22 issue/idea/question.

February's bestest month o'the year.

My favorite months is October, followed by December. And then January of course because that's when my birthday is and when the hunt begins.

March doesn't do much for me. Neither does April. They're usually two of the most blah months of the year. The scenery is dreary, not a whole lot going on.

I like October and May for the change of the seasons.

I only like March cause it Joe's birthday
