Ivy, Ivy Falls isn't in Ramsey Cty. It's impossible.

Ivy park splits. All the clues point towards Ivy Park.

One Half is in Ramsey.

It's impossible. The rules say specifically that it will ALWAYS be in Ramsey County.

If there is such a place as Ivy Park it must be in W.St.Paul

Has the new clue been posted any earlier than 11:30?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 10:28 PM Permalink
Two Sisters

Reddog - No, we're waiting for the clue and then heading to Cherokee. Couldn't leave this stimulating converation.

ivyfallsp - I don't even see that park on my map. I see an ivy falls street, but its in Mendota Heights and not close to Ramsey co. line.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be snide, but the rules are the rules. I know where Ivy Falls is, and it aint in Ramsey Cty. You won't find MY shovel there, regardless of the news dorks.

If it is in cherokee maybe its by the big rocks near the pavilion. Mother lode relates to oar and minerals. where in that park do you think it is??

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 10:39 PM Permalink
AirBourn

How do you figure 'bread dough', E.R?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 10:40 PM Permalink
Kat

"lode" is term about mineral ore(from this dictionary)

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 10:40 PM Permalink

I would hate to find a lump of frozen bread dough to chop through. And after today's 40+ temps, goopy. Hope its in a white silk rosebud.

Is everybody getting ready for the clue?!?

Let's have a poll. Just post which park you really think the medallion is in.

Here's some FAQs:

--What is "Rosebud"?

"Rosebud" is the sled from the classic film "Citizen Kane." Since the third clue often reveals what the medallion is hidden in, some believe it will be something related to rosebud. Also could be implying that it's hidden near a sledding hill.

--What is the "double division"?

Annapolis Street divides St. Paul from Mendota Heights/Lilydale/West St. Paul and Ramsey County from Dakota County. Unless, of course, you're trying to make the clues fit Mounds Park, in which case it's a street that divides Mounds Park twice.

Any other common answers to common questions?

mother dole

rosebud is from the movie citizen kane which is about a newspaper tycoon, and the pioneer press factory (actually the lighted

PIONEER PRESS) is visible from mounds. albeit the pp is a sorry excuse for a newspaper.

If anyone thinks it is in Ivy Falls, which is NOT in Ramsey County, they need to re-read the rules. 'Tis Cherokee.

Has anyone thought about unscrambling "mother lode" to determine the container that the medallion's buried in?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 10:47 PM Permalink
Red DOG

Cherokee.

I think the medallion is in something relating to Rosebud. There aren't any great sledding hills at CP. Don't know why rosebud is capitalized and in "" though.

mother mother whoever you are - what is the double division at Mounds?
