Airbourn: When are you gonna be at Cherokee?

Terry

Cherokee is on the west side of St. Paul, not West St. Paul.

selma/patty: i'll be digging just east of winona (city) st., where you can see both the capital dome and the stack is directly behind the play area, about 20 paces in front of the line of 8 trees (they are in a very stright line too). I look like bruce willis. but not going out there tonight. be there around noon tomorrow. of course tonights clue could point to phalen )

Hey S&P: I just hate being alone, Finders Keepers.

Air - should'a been here last nite from about 10:00 to 3-4:00 a.m. The clues were flying!!

Robert Adney

Hey it's in Mounds Park baby!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:08 PM Permalink
Terry

We'll need the tums if tonights clue points to Phalen!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:08 PM Permalink

which is the better movie? citizen kane, or casablanca?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:09 PM Permalink
AirBourn

Mother, don't you mean just WEST of Winona? That's where I was last night. I dug on a line connecting those trees with the two rocks. Nothing 'cept snow.

Pocket, unless the clue and my happless logic sends me somewhere else, I'll be at Cherokee right after the clue's out...

Robert Adney the drummer?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:09 PM Permalink
selma and patty

Ok Itsinmypocket if you promise you won't take it from us when we find it.

could it be inside a map "if you just don't know where to go"

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:10 PM Permalink

Thorne St. "Rosebud" does anyone see a connection?

BennDug - Did you say 'Flying'. Heh - that wasn't very 'punny'. In fact, it was 'pun-ishment'...

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:10 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

Air, if it points to Cherokee, meet me somewhere.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:11 PM Permalink
josie cool

The only connection that possibly makes sense with "Rosebud" is the sled from Citizen Kane. This has to refer to the hill that kids "zoom" on at Cherokee.

ryan quinn

whats this i heard about the clue coming out early?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:11 PM Permalink
Robert Adney

The drummer would be my dad

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:11 PM Permalink
mother dole

robert, to connect rosebud to mounds, i'd say that rosebud is from the movie citizen kane which is about a newspaper tycoon, and the pioneer press factory (actually the lighted

PIONEER PRESS) is visible from mounds. albeit the pp is a sorry excuse for a newspaper.

JENNY HOULE

there's no way that it could be in Phalen. read clue six.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:12 PM Permalink
selma and patty

Bruce Willis? Could you get there right away!!!!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:12 PM Permalink

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:13 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

S&P: That's a promise. age/sex? Dont worry Im not trying to pick you up or anything

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:13 PM Permalink

anyone think the domes could be the 2 blue highland water towers visible from certain parts of cherokee?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:13 PM Permalink
Just Kidding

where do they have the past 6 clues?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:14 PM Permalink
Elsinore

Someone is keeping tally?? (Been off awhile)

Count me as one for Mounds, for lack of better place

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:14 PM Permalink
Robert Adney

So is it in Cherokee or Mounds?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:14 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

Robert, I use to take lessons a long while back. By the way its at Cherokee Park.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:14 PM Permalink
Michael Kasal

Why would they say "rose BUD" and not just "rose" if there was a connection to Thorne st.?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:14 PM Permalink
mother dole

itsinmypocket, back off dude... I AM trying to pick them up :)

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink
oz

double division means its near the treasure not the park.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink
mikem

if you look at clue #2 it says "hidden goods"

and clue #7 says something to do with dough

could that have something todo with a rainbow foods bag

the bakery and they have the "good" stuff

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink
New Daddy

how about a 2 foot picture of a Rosebud on a sign across from Beaver Lake.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink
Been There Dug That

Wish I had time to come back on as I was last nite...

I can't believe it!!! I can't believe it!!!! JUST FOUND ANOTHER "DOUBLE" CLUE!!!

Folks, please note: Clues 1&2 have NO punctuation (but for a mistake period at end of #2), Clues 3&4 DO, 5&6 DON'T... SEVEN does. I'll bet a GAZZILLION eight will, too (or should I say "Two"?)

Again. It's gonna be in a Bandaid box!!!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink
selma and patty

We're both female and over 21. Way over!!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:15 PM Permalink

Been tHERE - wHY A bANDAID BOX AGAIN

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:16 PM Permalink
Michael Kasal

It's at mounds!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:16 PM Permalink
B.J. Mack

VOTE TOTAL:

--Cherokee: many, around a dozen

--Beaver Lake: 1.5

--Mounds: 1 (any others?)

Any guesses for tonight's clue. I think we'll see some boundaries that narrow the searching zone. Possibly a reference to the rocks or the thick woods near the sledding hill at Cherokee.

If Kamode is right about it being near a bathroom maybe the division line means its inbetween the girls and guys restrooms

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:17 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

You can have them. Lets just say Im probably the youngest one here.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:17 PM Permalink

so where in the hell is this damb medallion.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:17 PM Permalink

Ah, BeenDug, methinks you need a hobby. What the heck does the punctuation have to do with the price of medallions in Thailand?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:18 PM Permalink
Just Kidding

where r the other 6 clues on this site?

i'm

not kidding, by the way

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:18 PM Permalink
Elsinore

Way to go, lulu!

I've been saying that double division is more specific than naming a park! Now we just need to know where the treasure is! (of course)

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:18 PM Permalink
Just Kidding

i'm 15

Loki: Everything's "double" this year. So, I'm betting they're doubling up on last year's Curad box. Also, please see "...to aid your decision."

How does Rose Bud connect to Cherokee then?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 11:19 PM Permalink

Good point Bobby, but the bathrooms at Cherokee are all dug up, I was there all day
