There are factions and there are groups but all of us are each looking for the loot. With shovels in hand and flashlights too we trudge through the night round about
two. The snow and ice though cold and packed won't keep any of us in the sack, for when the medallion is set to be found, you'll find all of us all around.
Frenchy, the majority o'The Cooler Crew met two years ago, here, hunting The Med. That's how The Crew came to Bee. We've grown as we've become an on line
community, but it seems even the new folks to join us since the beginning, we end up dragging out hunting, too! Like Pats! He helped last year from St. Losers! Yup!
And looks like we're doing right by you, too... YOU seem to bee getting the fever! WARNING!!!!!! There is NO CURE!!! Once bitten, you'll never not hunt again!
We go in big groups, we go in wido groups. We go alone, we go in pairs. We meet up for chow or coffee...
And to find others from The Medallion Hunt Cooler we yell, "YOU DIG???" and if we get an answering "YES!!!" we know we've found annudder Coolerphile that
not only hunts out in the raw and cold, but hunts and noodles on line here!
We wear something white, so we can be seen in the dark...

Oh! Frenchy! You yust get ALL bundled up! Last year I got some Sorrels and my feet were roasty-toasty. Dress in layers because on the nice days you really break
a bead digging and start taking off the layers. I wore MJ's husband's snow mobile suit and it worked like a charm!!! Hand warmers, foot warmers, stuff like that. No
dress code <g> so whatever you want that keeps you warm and makes you happy!
You know, it'll bee the 2000 Hunt... Are there any kind'a bug wrappers/sprays that come in white????

Hey, Gang. Just read over the last couple of week's entries. I have to admit reading the posts got me excited as when the new clue posted at 10:30 each night. I just
love the Hunt!! I've been doing it for 3 years and wished I'd been doing it for 11 years. I'd have said longer but I moved here in 1988. I bring my two kids with me
digging and they enjoy it as much as my husband and I do. They bring their little shovels and dig a little then play with the other children of fellow diggers. I bought
white ear muffs last year and made a badge with "Treasure Digger" on it to wear while I'm digging. I, too, took vacation for the hunt this year. Everyone thought I
was crazy, but I had a blast -- even if I didn't find it. I've yet to meet the Cooler Crew or make it to any of the parties, but would enjoy the chance. The best tool I
saw - doesn't work in all types of snow - but it was a sifter with chicken wire with wooden work horses. The guy was covering a lot of territory. However, once the
snow melts and refreezes, the ice snow doesn't sift very well. Just fuel for thought.
Hey fellow hunters I see that some of the regulars are already excited! Me too! I couldnt do a whole lot of hard digging last year I was pretty pregnant but I did my
best! This year, Rob, myself, a shovel and a babysitter!!!!! I am soo excited! This is a wonderful tradition I cannot wait to share with my new little boy as soon as he
is able to enjoy it! (He is only 5 months!) I will have to come to McGoverns this year. Although I havent met Terry, Green , Treasure Digger, I have enjoyed reading
and noodling with you all in the past 3 yrs.! I moved and no longer have EASY access to a computer but, I will do my best to stay in touch and I hope to finally meet
