I think that Minnehaha is the most famous falls. It's in the Song of Hiawatha, a famous poem. Plus, when there's a sporting event and they're showing footage of a local spot, a lot of times they'll show footage of Minnehaha Falls.

The magic word...Minnehaha...may just be another way of saying Minneapolis. It may have nothing to do with the mouse location (i.e., falls areas)

just a thought

MINBIN.com is a small business started in the basement of a Northeast Minneapolis home in May 2005 with about $1,800 in savings. It is a four-employee company founded on the mission of serving the greater Minnesota online community by providing geography-based products, services, and information in a customer service oriented manner. Around our office we live, breathe, and sleep Minnesota. Our slogan is, “For Minnesotans, By Minnesotans.” The site is only accessible / available to people residing within the State of Minnesota. http://www.MINBIN.com

So I'm basically still lost on mouse 2. Part of me thinks it could be near the downtown area on some riverfront trails. Another part of me thinks it could be Minnehaha/longfellow. I was doing some research on st. anthony falls if I understand it right the upper falls is near the downtown with the lock and dam and the lower fall is further downstream near Minnehaha and Hidden Falls parks.

mouse #2 the keyword "COULD" has me confused...

if it was "DID" i'd understand the clue...

cocorosie

the only thing that pops in my mind about 2 is that if it's at minnehaha, maybe it's taped to one of those four person bike type things, so it moves around?!

OT

Redbear said that. I think #2 is at Longfellow Gardens. Clue #4 and #6 lead me that way. They moved the zoo from Minnehaha to Longfellow Gardens.

I belive clue 5 for mouse 2 wants you to think flea....like the which came first argument someone posted yesterday. They are asking you a question... the answer - a flea. So what is that suppose to mean. My search for flea markets came up with alot near the downtown area but none near minnehaha park. But it's difficult to search flea market cuz most are not in the yellow pages nor advertise.

I'm still perplexed on clue 4 - It's minnehaha, but I'm not there. Maybe they want you to think minnehaha but it's not in that park. Maybe it's in the park but not at the falls itself. ....more questions.

KITCH

but see...I'm still confused...

that is "DID" move...not "could be"

but if you want to be really confused..

"st. anthony falls" moved upstream...from Hiddenfalls all the way to where it is now.

Tatergirl

Yeah that's true. the army cops of engineers has repaired, rebuilt and move them several times.

flea

There'a a dog park right there.

Probably just means it could be moved because the zoo was moved. Semantics.
Wed, 10/26/2005 - 6:30 AM Permalink
KITCH

basically it eroded back to where is stands now...

shouldn't move for a long time now....the area at where st.anthony now stands used to be a major crossing point in the river for indians as this area was very shallow at one time.

It sounds like Longfellow is under renovation and won't be ready until spring of 2006. :eyeroll:

I like how we all just move on to mouse 2, like we are assuming about how mouse 3 will be found.

Oooh Ian, that's a good thought. The dog park is further down, away from the Falls itself. That could be a good place to look.
