I love it when the people who work the hardest on looking for it find it!

My dirty little secret is that I enjoy noodling more than hunting.

Thanks, coco! Clue #1 I said one would be found at Lake Harriet near the band shell. But I was talking about Mouse #5 at the time! :pbpt: But it still would have led you to a mouse.

schnaaps(however you spell it) all around?

anywho.... if not schnaaps(again, however you spell it)then, "cocktails" perhaps?

Cloud Nine could refer to one of the following:

* The phrase "on cloud nine" or "cloud number nine" meaning happy, euphoric or 'high'.

    * ""Cloud Nine" (song), a Grammy-winning 1968 song by The Temptations.

    * Cloud Nine (Temptations album), the 1969 album that contains the above song

    * Cloud Nine (play) a play by Caryl Churchill.

    * Cloud Nine (George Harrison album), an 1987 album by George Harrison.

    * Cloud Nine, a J-pop group.

THE TRUE MEANING OF BEING ON CLOUD 9 is to take refuge in enlightenment, proper understanding and purity.

It's advertised on their web site as a bi-annual event. This is the first hunt, however.

I thought it just meant Flying Cloud airport..."take off"
Wed, 10/26/2005 - 7:29 AM Permalink
cocorosie

well it sure could just mean that. but all the other mice clues seem to have been more specific in some way already, so i thought i'd stretch it a bit.

If they don't go broke...they'll do it again...I'm sure.

yeah we might be alittle discreet when collecting prizes. If they knew all their dough was going to the same group of nut job treasure hunt addicts, they might think of not having it again. So ssshhhh :lipsealed:

Congrats Cluemaster!!!!! YAYA!!! Onto the next mouse.

The people at Minbin were wonderful. Very nice. They have implemented a new forum over there. We should pop on and use it a little bit for a Thank you for giving 3 coolers money:)

Congrats CM!

I don't think I have a chance at competing.. Didn't even wake up early enough today, not that it would've mattered.

I think I'm doomed not to find anything, I've been close a few times in the past, but never actually found anything. No time, not noodling right, can't seem to make it out to the parks, having to work, worried about what areas I could hunt at night...

blah.

OT

Ahhh, buck up KC! I've always considered you one of the "serious hunters". The timing is just wrong for you on this particular hunt.
Wed, 10/26/2005 - 8:39 AM Permalink
KC0GRN

thanks OT...

I don't think this has been my year, as far as medallion hunting goes anyway. Feels like I've just been off on anything I've tried. I just need a break.

yeah, I almost hate to say it, but it'll be good to rest up (mentally and physically) for it.

I told a bunch of people in the parks this noodle, so I will post it.

For mouse 2 - The reason I was at The Longfellow House and Longfellow Gardens this morning is because the House used to be a library and it was moved to its current location. Also, the last clue says Word which also screams library to me.

That being said, the grounds for the house and garden are not that big and have been scoured by a number of people and it hasn't been found. It could be further away from the house by the statue, the field, or near the creek.

(I had my wedding reception there - when one could still rent it out)
