Dome and Mode, you can arrange them to be "dome" You can see smokestacks and the domes - capital and cathedral from Cherokee, and remember "Rosebud" refers to a sled in a novel as well. I'm still not convinced it is another park.

B & K - when I looked up 'demo' the definition was mark, a wall...and mode seems to equal 'dome'.

Black Widow - I just can't believe how the clues seem to fit "any park"!

Can someone please answer these questions:

1. How many pyramids are there on the top of Awada's restaurant on Plato avenue?

2. Can Awada's be seen from either indian mounds or cherokee park?

Do any of you other treasure hunters out there get the feeling that this clue writer is really messing with our minds? I'm going crazy. But I have to admit, it's sure a lot of fun goin' through the process of turnin' looney.

Beavis--

Your poetic license should be revoked! Try this:

When hydrogen U played oxygen tech

And the game had just begun,

Hydrogen racked up two fast points

While oxygen still had none.

Then oxygen scored a single goal

And thus it did remain:

Hydrogen 2, oxygen 1

Called because of rain.

Phalen is pretty well ruled out for this year. For future reference, it's pretty much ruled out for good. Phalen is part in St. Paul, part in Maplewood. Last time it was hid in Phalen the park got tore up bad. Maplewood officials were not happy. There was an agreement to never hide it there again. That's the story I heard, and I believe it's true since it's been 15 years since it was hid there.

Sorry Robert, but that reminds me of the time I told my husband that if I looked at him upside down and squinted, he looked like Keith Hernandez. I.E. quite a stretch.

Magnus--

My one complaint is that it has been way too warm! People are so much more desparate (and witty) when they're freezing. My rule is, the colder the weather, the more fun the hunt!

Hello, just got back from Mounds Park and we were next to a group of people that drove off showing the medallion from the window of their van. They were digging by the big oak tree north of the bathroom and 2 shelters with prymid shaped roofs. Could be true or not sure. But it sure looked like they were not joking. We'll just have to wait and see !

well i live next to swede hollow park right behind the old stroh brewy and can make all clues fit except the pyramids. its a strech but i thought it could be a sentimental thing with the brewry closing this year and all. so its a reach but dont count it out.

I've thought about writing a mystery novel, or perhaps a comedy that takes place at the treasure hunt. Kinda like "It's a mad mad mad mad world" meets "grumpy old men". What characters would you like to see?
