Are there double posts appearing from me? I dont see them on this end, and Im not doing anything that would cause them, unless I have some odd preference setting!

Treasure Hunti…

alright. Fabulous clue.

Which is King Borea's direction? North?

Isn't there a prince of the west wind, or something like that?

North part of St. Paul. That eliminates the east side and Highland.

George_Y2G_

The towers, just like every year, that leaves almost all parks in still

Downtown Dave

Actually dethroning is done at Kellogg Mall park--but I think this clue means North part of town...

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:03 AM Permalink
Terry

Phalen is North...and Como is too.

Newell Pfool

Some area south of Highland's Water Towers would now seem to be favored, if only I weren't sure it was Newell.

Highland is definitely large enough to indicate early.

Of course it might not be a water tower.

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:03 AM Permalink
Terry

And Pfool - As we both know....so is Newell!!

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:04 AM Permalink
ThoseMedallingKids

Terry, I think the clue could be interpreted two ways. 1) If you're in the park, you look to the north and see two towers. 2) Look in the northern part of St Paul, where there will be two towers within view. I tend to believe the former...

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:04 AM Permalink
Allison Wonderland

Now do you have to look north to see the towers, or is it saying the park is in the north?

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:04 AM Permalink
Snow Angel

north, more info on Newell please...

When in the park, u will see 2 towers if u look north

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:05 AM Permalink
Terry

Pfool - I can think of one tower at Newell...at the fair grounds. Is there another?

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:05 AM Permalink
'mom'

I think it says look to the North in order to see the towers. Not necessarily that the park is in the North.

Space needle and water tower for fair perhaps Terry?

It has to be on a GOLF COURSE!

Are they going to be redoing any GOLF courses this spring?

Newell Pfool

I am always full of info on Newell, and some of it is true too. Smallish park on the south edge of Pierce Butler at Fairview. While I constantly push it (I live a block away) it is a little too early to jump all over it.

Phalen can be trouble, because of the Maplewood border deal. I think they had trouble the last time it was up there.

Boreas, king of winds; Titan, North Wind; Euros, East wind. Zephyrus, West Wind; Notos, South Wind. Downtown St. Paul is King Boreas's direction.

Terry

Downtown Dave - That would do it!

Dave is on the Newell tower scene Terry. Don't forget the multitude of power towers near Hidden Falls as well.

Pfool is currently at home getting ready to go out hunting! Feverish with anticipation that it just might be Newell! LOL!!!!!

Terry and Newell man, I am at pierce butler and Hamline. Looking out front window, space needle has solid red light on top. Another tower ( not sure what it is) has 3 blinking lights running up it. If it is blinking, you'd see 2, if not you'd see one.

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:11 AM Permalink

from newell you can see some tower from hamline as well. if you go to cherokee, and look north, you can see all the towers of building you desire

Regalman - You live somewhere between Pfool and me then. Thanks for that information.

Pfool - You best get out there if you're gonna be first! I'll be there tomorrow for a look see.

Where is my Medallion sniffing dog? I might point out the Fairgrounds are directly north of Newell.

You can see towers from almost any park you fools!

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:14 AM Permalink
Newell Pfool

I've already been Terry. You have to start somewhere, and there is no real place at this stage, so Newell suffices.

Towers to the north? Are you sure Pie

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 12:19 AM Permalink

a tower or two, could this mean that from the park you can see two towers, but from the actual treasure site they line up to appear as one?

Tower or two= Fair view Fairview St.?
