Excuse me but who is King Boreas?

new to this discussion - what about radio towers - looking from Keller Park there are 3 radio towers - as you look from the North to St. Paul (the direction of King Boreas) you see the towers clearly overshadowing Keller Park - which nearby golfers gather to cavort (country club) - just a possibility!

I guess it went South.

Seth: according to my knowledge, King Boreas is a mythological god of the North Winds...what it refers too? well it could be sooo many different things.

you can see a tower (smoke stack i think it is) of hamlines from newell, or at least if i remember right from last year. boreas is the king of winter carnival folklore

For all we know King Boreas means that the medallion is hidden in a Whale Puppet or something!

There is a smokestack and a radio tower clearly visible in Newell (was just there tonight), but to see them, you have to look west, towards Minneapolis.

Anyone think that "A TOWER OR TWO" could mean you can see a TOWER and something with the NUMBER TWO on it to the north??? (north coming from the Boreas reference, could be wrong on that)

Wow, read all the posts since 12:20 am. People are working hard, but the best Allison, was your urinal suggestion in the 1300s. Let me add a couple of thoughts: 1. If towers referred to downtown, it would not reference a tower or two, it would reference many many towers. 2. If in Kellogg Park, you would see by now, or see soon refernce to that big old river below. Also train tracks. It's between Robert and Wabasha bridges. Got a big ol' kettle in there. Right across from St. Paul Yacht club. One of these things should have made it into clues by now, I thinks. 3. People who post that they know where the medallion is and refuse to share should be booted. It does nothing for the forum. 4. Don't hit reload after posting. 5. Big flame wars seem to happen at 1:00 am. 6. I like Newell.

Also towers of Galtier are west of Mears Park.

Newell sounds good, however, King Boreaus seems to refer to north. prospect park on the west side, overlooks the landmark center!!!!

here's something interesting... shortly after clue 3 last year someone on the cooler said " hey, there's a 954 ruth st. at conway park. If only a person had gone there and stayed within sight of those numbers... However clue 7 said to find a valuable sign and unfortunately for me there was a strip right through the middle of the park where you could read TRUE VALUE hardware. Just a coincidence I guess cause it was never mentioned in the explanations

Great to see all the noodling in here. I still like Newell, has anyone thought about Cherokee. I know it was just there 2 years ago, but i can think of 2 towers you can see from there and possibly line up??

I didn't look that long, but looking to the North, all I saw was Pierce Butler, the train tracks, and lots of trees. Maybe it could be seen from a different part where there were fewer trees, but still, that's just one tower.

if u look in the past years it always seems to point to newell , every year it sucks people in there and then throws them to another park after a few more clues , but who knows maybe it is finally newell this year....

Prospect: obsession and or profitable profession!!! Just an idea, small park however!

George, if I see a forthcoming clue referring to a repeat of some kind, then I like Cherokee. Barring that, I don't like that quick of a repeat.

Personal thought here.....fairly vague clues coming, reference to where in the park to look, but we wont get the park for sure for a few more clues at least
