Errrr

My stomach is messed up right now. I don't know if it's from the overdose of 357 or the 4 cans of Mountain Lightning I had to drink to help settle my mouth down. Either way I'm sure I'm in for it later on. :lipsealed:

That would be cool.

I seen that in one of my magazines and didn't think it was that expensive. Maybe not. Sharper Image maybe? Brookstone?

my favorite brand name of stuff Ive seen... wasnt hot sauce, it was - "Whoop Ass" - energy drink.....

just like that oldschool saying "I'm gonna open up a can of whoop ass!"

I had to buy it... its sitting on my shelf with my trophies and other various life-achievments/accumulations....

84 degrees here yesterday. Had the sunroof open and the shades on, crusing town (granted it was to my dr's apt...)

warm last night too - didn't get cold until like 2 am.

Have you heard anything on who's opening for him?

possibly the saddest part, for me of this event is seats on the floor :frown:

the show will rock though... anyone who hasnt seen him before: he does NOT disappoint

Oh, crap! I deleted my following post thinking it would lower my post count to 6666. But Nooooo! :frown:

I had to tape it, because I ended up getting home too late, after it had started...

what stuff do you like to watch most?

I grew up, having to watch the ice skating, mostly...because my mom and sister were/are into watching that, so i'm hooked on that every time....

The highlight for me was Peter Gabriel singing Imagine - Truly mesmerizing.

I could have done without Yoko though.
Fri, 02/10/2006 - 11:14 PM Permalink
Wicked Nick

thanks for the heads-up....

I'll remember to fast forward through that, when I watch it

I think we could all do without Yoko....

dude.... she broke up the band.... 'nuff said
Fri, 02/10/2006 - 11:42 PM Permalink
Clue Master

Our guess was that the reason why Yoko was even there was probably because she required it for them to use John's song. :eyeroll:

:frown:

They should have had his son, there too....

Terry

That was my guess too.

And Peter Gabriel doing Imagine was my favorite too. It brought tears to my eyes.

I was also really impressed with that vertical wire thing and that performance and how they came together at the end of that performance in the shape of a dove.

And did you see Sophia Loren? She was one of the Olympic flag carriers. She's in her 70's and looks fabulous.

It's always fun to watch the parade of the athletes. What a deal for them to even be there when most don't have a prayer to medal.

I always get goosebumps when the torch is lit. It's always fun to see who the final torch bearers are and who gets the honor of actually doing the lighting of the big one.

And as far as what sports I enjoy watching during the Olympics....all of it. The Alpine skiing and ice skating, The luge, Ski jumping. Hockey. It's all good.

I turned to the opening ceremonies shortly before Yoko did her...thing.

I could have sworn it was an S&L skit!

I think the only word for her is ridiculous.

I love John Lennon, but damn he had horrible taste in women.
