Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Clues:
Clue No. 1 (Sunday, Jan. 21)
Welcome ice and snow and temperatures low
There’s no time for cold feet!
For searchers’ pleasure we’ve parked the treasure
Where nature lovers each other greet
Clue No. 2 (Monday, Jan. 22)
Boreas\' vast realm can overwhelm
Even diggers used to the long haul
So here\'s advice to put your hunt on ice:
Look no farther than good old St. Paul
Clue No. 3 (Tuesday, Jan. 23)
Hunters can be surly but in clue-time it’s early
Be safe, friends, and in the hunt revel
Near land that is high the treasure is nigh
Vagueness rules and that’s on the level

I just got an invite to a relatives b-day party- one of those elderly ones where you don't bring a gift... its Jan 27th- Im like, yeah right-
You're not allowed to even DIE in MY treasure hunting world!
The world stops for the duration of the hunt -nothing else matters
One of my uncles is having his retirement/60th b-day party at a restaurant out on W. 7th, the night of the 31st....
I'm kinda required to be there.... but i'm hoping it wont go real late.
MY RULES FOR THE 2007 HUNT
1) NO WEBSITE VISITS TO PP THREADS
2) NO WEBSITE VISITS TO pf THREADS
3) NO MORE THAN 300 MINS. ON MY CELL PHONE
4) ONLY 1 NIGHT OUT PAST 3AM
5) IF I LIKE A SPOT...DIG THERE!!! EVEN IF..SHUT UP ALREADY AND DIG IN THAT SPOT.
6) HANG OUT AND HAVE FUN...2 TELL YOU THE TRUTH THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE STRESS FREE FOR ME...I MIGHT NOT EVEN NOODLE ONLINE...
the only rule I have is no rules - and come out of it alive - mentally - emotionally - physically ...and to fold some laundry
Unfortunately babysitters are hard to come by for 12 days straight. I just hope to get out there a few times...Hey I only need to be there once to pick it up anyway so it will all work out.
amen brother
And after you're done with that, go dig in your spot again, cause ya might've missed it.
My boss is out of town all week of the 27 so I can hunt and noodle all day too. I am so ready.

saweeet!!
If I follow that guideline, I'll probably find it on clue 3 or 4.
(measure 2x...cut once)
or
case in point - Marley's clock tower
Jake you bastard!
Go ahead blowboy, make my night! :coolfrown:
what? who? what?
I saw nothing
Funny - If you Google Leaf Blower Guy you actually get a picture of Tim. Excellent!

wannnt... to... respond ..... eeer, no comment!
ok, has anyone ever tried a fish finder? hmmmmm it bounces back info if there are any fish below...wonders if it would work for things under snow..... hmmmmmmmmm
seriously...
the last 3 years in a row....
after seeing the actual spot that it was found at - and saying I f'n pissed there!!!.....
this year... will NOT be the same result.
Taking a leak on 10-grand, is only fun for so many years.

Or a clever piece of garbage...
2002- Hidden under nothing but a thin layer of melting snow, sitting right at 2nd base on a baseball diamond.
2003- Frozen in some ice in the middle of a big wooded area where none of the clues would actually guide you to.
2004- Green doughnut, need I say more?
2005- Under a piece of bark in a wooded area.
2006- Covered by some snow on the side of a hill.
Some of those were better than others, but none were really brilliant. I would expect more of the same.
