To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But huntersÂ’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother weÂ’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? DonÂ’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if itÂ’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It wonÂ’t be so hard if you channel the bard
YouÂ’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet
Whoowho we still get to hunt! Thanks Ma Press!

Ha! Whatever works!

Were the people at the PP scratching their heads when he told them how that led him to the spot?
And that was his tagline before he actually found it too.

Welcome ice and snow and temperatures low
ThereÂ’s no time for cold feet!
For searchersÂ’ pleasure weÂ’ve parked the treasure
Where nature lovers each other greet
Explanation:
We welcome the return of winter, refer to the treasure-hunting film "No Time for Cold Feet," and allude to the medallion being in a park frequented by nature lovers
Boreas' vast realm can overwhelm
Even diggers used to the long haul
So here's advice to put your hunt on ice:
Look no farther than good old St. Paul
Explanation:
Hunters must take a longer-than-usual trek to the spot, which is in the city of St. Paul
Hunters can be surly but in clue-time itÂ’s early
Be safe, friends, and in the hunt revel
Near land that is high the treasure is nigh
Vagueness rules and thatÂ’s on the level
Explanation:
We ask hunters to be safe and look near "land that is high" - the bluffs over the Mississippi river - but on level land. We admit that the early clues are vague.
So it was below? I was getting the impression he found it street level "above" the park?
OMG, that's where I was, hiding a cache. I parked at the boat launch, looked at the first painted bench, and walked about .4 mile to the high-voltage towers, then went into the grassy, woody area and placed the hide:
N 44° 53.988 W 093° 11.374
I couldn't submit it, because another cache is a few hundred feet away. How did you guys get to the "spot" ? From above or below? I'm really confused. He said he parked at a church?
But guess to be expected. Whatcha gonna do on short notice, huh?
After seeing the explanations and talking with Jake the clues were not a factor in this hunt. He was al;rerady on HF befor it started by looking what park was due. He did start to look in that area, because of the clues, but for the wrong reasons. luck
mostly it was the hours he spent looking. I don't think anybody elese was lookingn all day yesterday but Jake. any of you lookall day ??
Moral. spend more time looking, less time noodeling. except for reviewing patterns in past hidding nplaces and parks.
The clues are only a very small part of the hunt.
Only because it will be fun and stuff.
