Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Recent Clues:
Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet

Mucky's calling the conference call line with the clue. She'll repeat it a few times.
BE QUIET so Everybody can hear!
Coolers on the call: OTS, Payme, Mikey, me, Zeph, CM, Kitch, Tim, New Daddy, Ian, Leelabell, OT, LA Mommy, D4, DD, etc.
OTS has the info if you need it/want it.
I have no idea if this works - but if it does, it's a cooler victory!
Good luck everybody...
Here's why...
1952 = start of the hunt
1953 = 2 Hunt Year
1954 = My Grandpa and my Great-Aunt find it
skip ahead to :
2006 = my first hunt after Iraq
2007 = 2 hunt year
2008 = 54 years after the '54 hunt...
It is destiny....
Oh, and I call 2009 too, just in case I messed up the math
That should get everyone covered
I figure I'm due on that one. Take the first monday and tuesday off and thoroughly search every park in oakdale. I'm pretty sure it can be done.

Just a quick thought........often times @ work we get on these big massive conference calls and more often than not the amount of people talking in the back ground or blantly having a conversation while on the call happens all the time.....Might I suggest that you request everyone MUTE their phones say after 11:15 a sort of mandtory "lock down" as the release of the clue approaches. or simply request everyone leave their phones on MUTE.......I know the energy and adreline is going to be high not to mention I'm sure as the clue gets read over the phone others who are listening are going to be reading it to **other hunters** in the park potential making it hard for people to hear it of they did't get it the first time....sorry for the long email.....just a suggestion
-Red out
Instead of reading a 20 line clue on the phone someone can say head to area "blah" and then when they get where they need to be they can share the info.
I will check my egrams etc and if anyone else needs the confrence info I will forward it to you around then. Just get your emails to me.
Or you can write to my Gmail.

Google Earth (maps/satellite) doesn't give me the feel of it.
Am going to have to visit your area just to scope out things (NOT in winter, just to learn the area).
Here in San Antonio, we have a couple places where flags are painted on concrete. Anything like that at Central? Just asking, being a newbie and all.
This makes me nuts. Go Cooler Crew!
I'm thinking that needs to be in view. Or that you need to follow those eyes the way they're looking... Maybe those eyes look towards the flag...
GO COOLER CREW!!! GO, GO GO!!!
In case anyone isn't at central, I just got back from there. Roseville
police in a cruiser came by and (very politely) said that the park was
closing tonight at 11 and everyone would have to leave. Cars would be
ticketed.
that has to be the funniest thing I've read in a year.
I can't wait to see them politely ask all 3000 people to leave.
Do you have the conference call info?
I finally had a chance this year to get into the hunt and spend some time in the park. I see several of you @ the park (I think anyways) I made plans to be on the call tonight but was wondering where the crew will be in the park beofre hand. It would be nice to introduce myself....I think I saw Brassmonkey today.....I ususally have on my brown Carhart overalls and a green bay packers hat.....
Hey Otis, do you have information that FB can use?
they just don't get it
Damn. I was looking up and down on that map and it was crappy quality.
Thought I saw an image of a flag between 2 baseball fields. That's how little I know, or how bad my eyes are!
I am only reading from now on. Sorry for the interruption!
GO GET IT COOLER CREW!
The Roseville Police have set up a table in the parking lot on the Lexington Avenue, County Road C side of the park and are offering hot chocolate. A goodwill gesture! Cool! I was going to sit down and smoke a peace pipe with them, but I was a bit paranoid about them checking for foreign substances in my pipe pouch. I am of course joking about the pipe and pouch, but the Roseville Police are offering the hot chocolate for free.
