no, a round-tripper is 25000 miles, but its amazing how fast miles can add up just for buying thigns you'd normally buy anyway.

I got hired someplace on Thursday.... not even 24 hours after the hunt was over.

I start training on the 26th...

I had my button on, at the interview, and one of the ladies that I had to talk to noticed it...

she started talking about winter-carnival stuff, and at one point asks me "have you ever looked for the medallion?"

I think I came accross pretty rude....

I laughed at her....a lot...

Couldnt stop laughing....

and then I said "If only you knew"....

Well then I think you could have said just about anything you wanted during your interview and they would have said " You're hired!" They need people all the time. Glad you got a job though!

Wicked Nick

right on...

I just wish I could start sooner...

I gotta memorize tons of city/airport codes and stuff, before the first day of training...

had another interview elsewhere yesterday (saturday), and they told me to come back if this one doesnt work out...

I think im gonna need another part time deal on the side, anyhow...

l and a mommy

Good luck with that you actually have to memorize all the zip codes and crap?
Sat, 02/03/2007 - 3:12 PM Permalink
Wicked Nick

thanks

no... not the zipcodes...

each airport/field, has a 3 letter abbreviation given to it....

like ours = MSP...

thats a pretty easy one, and there are lots like it...

But then theres ones that make no sense, and ones that seem really odd....

different countries have different codes assigned to them....

Its crazy how much stuff they're going to test us on, on the first day.

According to the materials I was given - you need to have atleast 85% of the stuff right.

they just put you through alotta hell to get your foot in the door...

feels like i've been running in circles, the past few weeks, talking to the same people over and over again... doing re-interviews of re-interviews....

yeah res is the first part of the company that most people see. they gotta have good people to represent them.

tc worked desk, res, worldperks, customer service, and ended up as a supervisor. she loved that job. had it not been for the arrival of the littlest she wouldn't have ever left. it wasn't compatible with being a mom since you're constantly called in on promos. the flight benefits are great though, and with all her buddies, the passes are terrific.

That's awesome! One of the best horror movies ever! My absolute favorite part is when the hand is chasing him... and stops on the pile of books, the top of which is "A Farewell to Arms"

Classic!

I got a heated seat cushion for my car! It plugs into the cig lighter, and heats up faster and warmer than my husbands factory heated seats! It arrived last Wednesday -- not a day too soon!

Not to brag but I could cook up a pan of Jiffy Pop on my car seats. WoW. No wonder I only use them during the hunt.
