Thanks for posting them Vino. Really nice shots in there.

As some of you know, I took some video footage of Jakes interveiw with the Pioneer Press guy in his apartment before he turned in the med. I promised him I would put it on a DVD for him.

Since I had some extra space on the DVD, I decided to fill it up with a slideshow of all the pictures I took at the Predig at McGoverns.

There was still more room, so I made another slideshow of all my hunt pictures I took during the hunt (matty B's/Paper/in the field/harriette Island Vulcan coming out/ the 1st parade, etc.) and the rehash bash.

I also threw in a short movie of Jake taken while in the shopping cart of the parade.

I still had some room, so I took all the photos that were posted in this thread and made a slide show of them to fill up the DVD.

As a thankyou to all the people that contributed photos to this thread this year, I have made a copy of this DVD for you. (I didn't use any of vinos pics, because there wasn't room, and they were posted late).

I made a total of 12 copies. I wish I could make one for everyone, but it is a lot of work and time. If anyone else wants one, please ask someone who gets one to make a copy for you. If all else fails, I can make more IF I REALLY HAVE TO. It would be a lot easier on me if you have one of the others copy it for you.

I'm having a bawl with the 3D version of live local. It's definitely not you mother's Google Earth that's for sure.

He lost his video. The DVD didn't "finalize" or something like that. He's still trying to recover it I think, but last I heard it was pretty much a lost cause.

I tend to think that if no one bitches about their picture being up, nothing will happen. And, if someone really didn't want their picture here, all they would have to do is ask for it not to be posted.

I've always believed the sysops at Ableminds are reasonable. But, if for some reason we have to delete the whole thread, then we should consider if Ableminds is the best place for us.

Yea I think your right. The new policy says that someone has to complain 1st to the moderator/host and then to the Sysop. I don't think it would ever get that far. I would have no problem deleting a picture I posted if someone complained.

yes. I did! I had such an awesome time, that this 70 degree weather here today makes me miss ya'll even more.

Kinda odd why the Twin Cities are all mapped out in 3D and NYC only has a couple of buildings rendered so far. They didn't even have the ESB done up and that's probably the most popular building in the States.
