yeah I just got worried yesterday when she didn't show up here at all and then I nobody answered at her house last night and I didn't want to leave a paranoid message on her machine :wink: Glad she's all good.

I went into BabiesRUs the other day and wow, did it make me baby happy! I was on the phone with Becks at the time ...I think she almost had to talk me out of it! hahaha
LOL Luckily I haven't a clue the story behind it, It was something that someone forwarded to me a long time ago I was looking through some old files I had and came across that thought it applied here :wink: I don't know what I would do if that were my house my kid....puts me into a panic thinking about it....
I do have a remotely similar story about Amy when she was probably 18 months to 2 years old. I painted my up stairs and my front entry way (I have a split level and the entry way is a deep burgandy/wine color the living room is a pale yellow. I had been working on painting in the living room and walked over to the top of the stairs and didn't think too much about it but there was a large towel in front of the entry to the kitchen...went back like 15 minutes later picked up the towel she had dumped the paint over and must have righted the can again and walked to the linen closet and grabbed a towel to cover it or clean it up (that young she was probably thinking it was cleaned up if she put a towel on it)...anyways so I grab the carpet scrubber and got 90% of it up then I look up the hall and there are little foot prints leading to the linen closet at the end. 2 foot prints are still somewhat there I couldn't get them up by the time I was done scrubbing 1/2 a gallon of spilled paint.
That is a great story! I'll bet those little footprints are kinda cute - now. I can only imagine how you felt at the time.
Another board I read and post on has a thread about stuff we are going to do at our kids' houses when they are grown up and we go to visit.
And it has to be stuff they did or do at home now.
Like, I'm going to go to my son's house and open a can of pop, drink a few sips, leave it somewhere, open another can of pop, etc.
Or, I'm going to take their sewing machine parts and drop them down the drain in the basement floor.
Or, I'm going to go to their house when they are at work and order movies on their cable bill - maybe even movies they wouldn't approve of - and then act innocent when they get the bill.
Actually at the time I wasn't mad at all, it was one of those moments where you wish you had a camera handy and you think man why the paint why not the milk or something... I mean how can you be upset with a little one as cute as she is and of course she wasn't very old and really did try to "help clean up". I remember thinking when I saw the foot prints afterwards how cute it was and proof of her guilt lol. We are working on getting carpet possibly this summer so the foot prints will be gone forever :frown:
