Does anyone know a 'guy' who works on garage doors? I need someone to install some garage door torsion springs. I've looked on the net and found some very detailed info on it but wanted to see what someone might charge first since it could be somewhat risky in parts.

I think its standard now...but I was almost killed one day when a spring broke at my old house.

I use to install them when I worked as a matnas man for apt. you getthe tools and some time next saturday! I can do it then get a case of beer some brats for after we can get a it done in about a hrs.!!

City Auto Glass doesn't do moon roofs anymore. It's really difficult to get a good seal on a replacement. They recommend taking them to a dealer to be replaced. Sorry I couldn't help you out there.

I had a flock of Cedar Waxwings in my flowering crab yesterday. The ate all of the dried up fruit and moved on.
