One can always justify splurging on something. My mother always said she was using her cigarette and beer money when she bought herself something extravagant. She didn't drink or smoke so justified it that way.

I'm saving up my beer money to buy myself a pair of those cool boots.

I meant number 3, which really just means all of them combined:

smit·ten /ˈsmɪtn/

–adjective

1. struck, as with a hard blow.

2. grievously or disastrously stricken or afflicted.

3. very much in love.

–verb

4. a pp. of smite.

I bought gas this morning for $2.69. The only reason I bought any is I wanted a $1 off the car wash and then I forgot to buy the car wash. But I went back and got my dollar off. No, I didn't make a special trip to get my dollar discount. :pbpt:

Don't forget to drill out the bottom and add some washers for weight. If you're caught you can just say that the girls didn't know the rules.

<---- spoken from a two time winner

Just don't add too much weight

spoken from a banned former racer :frown:

Just remember to shave the least amount as you can. A lot of the square painted cars made it into the finals every year to everyones surprise.

My boys won a couple of first place finishes too and then went on to compete at Signal Hills in some kind of district tournament. They never did well there.

I think the father's have as much fun as the scouts. We also used weights behind the wheels. Ted would drill little holes and use lead shot for the weight.

I know a ton of tricks...

tungston moldable weights is my friend

light in front...heavy in back..give you passing speed at the end.

you can get balanced wheels..buff the inside of the wheels...sand the wheel post...etc...all kinds of tricks...

and yes...I'm sure it will be purple or pink with hanna montana stuff on it.

That is so awesome OT.

Last Saturday night, I had dinner with two of my friends (we've been friends for about 4 years) One is newly married, and even more newly - pregnant.

We were sitting there musing about where we'd all be in 5 years when we get together for our monthly dinners & how much we will have all changed by then.

Good friendships are such a blessing.
