I posted a suggestion on my forum that maybe we could have a thread where Cooler Crew members are job-searching could post their basic info. And then post a link on the Shoot the Breeze page so those who usually only read the basics can check it out if they want?
I got to watch it while listening to music from the radio - very profound, hits home and emotional. all teared up at work. I'm just so grateful that you made it through all of that. very emotional. you are a strong person.
nice ending with the actual heart beating
you are so loved - surrounded completely by your friends and family
well crap CM I come back after a hiatus and see this?! What's up with that man?
That's awesome everything went so well! I watched the whole slideshow with my wife, VERY moving, the pics from right after the surgery are gut wrenching but in a good way knowing how successful it went. Very, very awesome my friend.
Much hope for continued recovery in the weeks, months, and years to come. You truly have alot to live for.
Hope to actually meet ya this year at the PDG or during the hunt
I never knew you could sell the entertainment value of ones deck before.
Mine has plenty of places to sit with candles, tiki torches, lights, umbrella and cooking surfaces on my big deck. Plus I have speakers for the cool 'brownchickenbrowncow' type of music.
Thanksgiving is Brads favorite holiday of the year. Unfortunately he may be spending it in St. Joes. :frown: he was admitted tonight for observation and started on an antibiotic while they wait for a second culture to come back.
His left foot swelled yesterday, the 24th. so down to the er he went that night-just to be safe and check for blood clotting. The doc at the er ran tests and literally gave him a good bill of health and said he must of bumped his leg and ankle, that, mixed with the blood thinner must of caused the bruising and swelling. Throughout the day today (25th) his right ankle began to swell. Earlier tonight the nurse/infectious doc told him to go back to the er and not wait to see the doc in the morning. He went down this evening. The cultures from yesterdays visit came back cloudy. technically thinking the infection in the blood that caused this whole problem months back has not gone away. :frown: but the culture could still come back okay. - they are thinking he had an alergic reaction to this lovenox for his ankles to swell. therefor watching him overnight. He is gonna be ready for thanksgiving dinner!!!

Doc says he is forsure staying in til tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. no real new news. Cept I do have to spill the beans and say the old guy next to him had an accident. Hope you didn't have to stay in that smelly room with him for too long. :barf:
Damn dude is that thoughtful of you guys. I actually wished I was there to join you.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I was able to make it to my brother's for Thanksgiving dinner afterall. Just in the nick of time.
Thanks for stopping by 3M. Your grand-daughter is one cute kiddie.
My ankles are still swollen and black and blue right now but they're a bit better anyway. They're still worried but I think they let me go because I was becoming irritable because it was Thanksgiving and I was ready to bust out of there anyway.
Thank you my friends. Life sucks sometimes but you still have to be thankful for what you do have that's positive. It does get hard to live by those words sometimes though. Tonight's one of those nights.
There's a south park ep. where Cartman gets aids, and the running joke is everyone asks him in different contexts "Cartman, are you sure?" and he says "No, I'm not sure. I'm HIV positive."
Hey how's the health been? Haven't heard much since Thanksgiving...and I don't want to hear about the snip snip...how's the legs and other misc issues you've had?
