anyone object to opening up the access list on brad's thread as read-only for everyone, not just paid users/registered users? i thought it might be nice for people who for whatever reason are inactive to be able to at least read up on him.

very weird. hasn't been me; i haven't been in here the last couple of days.

while i can't explain the phenomena nick said about his posts (that would take him or one of us), anyone can delete any of their own posts at any time, unlike editing which can only be done for 30 minutes after the post is made.

its interesting that a search for taichx comes up empty of posts from him, as if he deleted everything he's posted, although its obvious he's been around given other people have been talking to him. i wonder if maybe something divorce-wise is coming back up again.

Doing a search, that poster name comes up twice - once here in your post and the other in the Cooler Crew Cachers - and it's not a post. I have seen the name in the who's here list, but that's it.

We don't know that person here unless someone knows if that person also posts under a different name.

Tell her to do a search with that name and take it from there. She'll only get the one mention of the name because she doesn't have access here.

She can reach her own conclusion quickly I would think.

Hey you guys, what do you think about surprising the ladies in our lives with tickets together for Tony & Tina's Wedding on Valentines Day? They're 60 bucks + fees. It's a real fun time if you haven't been there before. It's especially fun when you have the whole table for your group alone. Each table holds 8. We could send out PMs to the guys to see who's interested. I just wanted to run it by you guys first to think of any adverse things that could come up. I haven't seen it in St. Paul yet. Glad it closer now. If we want tix for 2/14 we have to act fast as they just went on sale this week and their first performance is Thursday so I'm sure they're gonna be advertising it big time.

u ready to kill me, brad? i actually mentioned your conniving plan to sue last night figuring she'd rather do the billy and elton show, and she said she'd be up for that as well. with a bunch of forthcoming medical stuff (if the girls haven't yet maxed out our family deductible for this year they're pretty damn close to it, and sue's having a sleep study monday night, and probably has to have a hole in her heart fixed, thank god it should be only one night if they decide to do it) and the fact that i don't quite yet have anything in the iphone app store making some extra cash, i'm thinking that i've got to stick with the cheap seats for billy. we sat in section 220 for tso last month and they weren't horrible seats. when billy was last here they had him up on the scoreboard anyway. they're coming on the 5th of may. damn shame they're not coming 4 days later. last time billy was here was 5/9/07 and it was his birthday. the crowd sang happy birthday when he walked out on stage.

i'm game to double up the billy and elton show. we'll have to figure out how to get tickets.

Those things would be fun, but I don't think I'm in. We'd rather put the money towards more things with our house, or save for a trip somewhere nice.

Made reservations for White Castle for V-day but would rather do something a little more. I'm sure we'll go out afterwards somewhere else but was looking for something like T&T's wedding or something. I might get dinner and a room at the Afton House or something. I just want to plan something now as I always seem to think of stuff too late in the game. This was the first year I've ever been able to get reservations for White Castle (ty Kitch) I just want to run with it.

if i made reservations for slyders on v-day, i know there'd be an empty table there. neither of us can stand the things :smile: although megan might take one of our spots.

Still waiting for a call back from my bro. My sis and bro-in-law are in anyway. We'll see about the other 2 seats before getting the table.

That sounds fun, but we have our own tradition for Valentine's Day. It involves the whole family having dinner together. It's a tradition my Mom insisted on many years ago with spaghetti because of the red sauce. Now it's lasagna for the same reason. We'll be doing that, I'm sure, for years to come.

With my Mom now 81 years young, I wouldn't think of changing this tradition she put in place.

With a last name like yours I figured you would just sit back and watch a Matlock marathon or something. :smile: :wink:

Hey Cluey, I was going to put the new clue in the clue thread but there I couldn't see where I could do that. Did you restrict access to do that, or is it just because it's read only that we can't add?

I always have a hard time spelling your name off the cuff. We should all have host access in there now. Did someone else go into the access list for the clue folder? I set it up for all of us to have host access but it was all messed up when I went in there just now.

It should be fine now however.
