Enjoy watching a female cardinal who has fallen in love with her own reflection in a window. She's been fluttering from branch to window all day! And there is a beautiful male sitting there in the same tree just watching her.
I was just talking to my son and mentioned my cardinal. He suggested that she's just protecting her space by trying to scare away another female, as cardinals are territorial. Makes sense to me, and he knows pretty much everything. :sillygrin:
My poor lady cardinal is at it again today. :frown: The male is getting annoyed at her I think. He keeps flying at her trying to get her to stop. I'm sure you guys can relate.
I think I'm going to use a ladder and tape some paper over the window. The house is vacant right now.
Getting some decent news on the job front. Up until today I felt like a dead man walking because the person I'm covering for is coming back on the 27. Then I was SOL. Now I have three different opportunities presented to me that each allow me to keep my current wage or even added perks with one of the options. :cool:
We were far away playing disc at the best course in the state and you didn't tell us until the day of that you couldn't have people over past 10! "Puss"... pshhh.

My bro gave me the set on disc that he burned. I'm about 1/2 through now. I like that show. Even though it was hard to remove his character from Six Feet Under at first.
Being an administrative professional on the other side. It's nice to be appreciated. Although I would get cudos and little gifts on bosses day before too.
I interview for a building manager position on Monday. I'm up against 4 others.

Especially since the woman I'm covering for returns on Monday. Cutting it close. Not sure what will happen if I don't get the job. :neutral: They have some short term stuff for me to take care of and a pretty large project that could last a few months anyway. But I don't see how long they can afford me. I see the ball dropping sooner or later here.

Celebrating our son's 32nd birthday this evening.
Celebrating the house inspection turning out very well for the house they are purchasing.
Imagining how nice it will be that they are buying a house close enough to us that spoiling future grandchildren will be easy.
