Sorry for the loss of your dad J & JM. 15 years may seem like a long time but it's only a split second on the other side. Huggs to both of you on this sadiversary.
That's way sad. I know it was a tough struggle for her and her hubby. I'll need to go back in my PMs to see her address. Thanks for posting 3M
I feel bad for not posting about this earlier... For some reason I felt it was a little too personal to spread to everyone... I apologize for not sharing this when it happened.
Froggy is an awesome person for those of you who don't know her.
This is just how *I* feel about it, having been six years at this journey.
I think you gave the information respectfully, in a thread created for sharing this kind of information. I don't know Froggy, but appreciated the post, as I will keep her in my thoughts, and hope that one day we might meet.
If someone posted here to let others know that my husband died, I would be grateful to know I had the love and support of my Cooler friends.
It is bad enough that they die, but then they stay dead.
And it is not like we are mired in our grief forever, but there are times when these somber thoughts strike us.
And it is right that we honor our dead with both our sorrow and our joy. Sorrow at what they lost, what we lost, and the loss of our planned future. Joy at what we had, what we have today for which we are grateful, and eventually for finding the courage and hope to build a new life, to replace that early "survival" mode of existence.
I just got word that My god mother only has 60 days at max to live she is between 10 and 15% heart compacity right now!
they have talked about hospice care with her 4 times now she has dibites and is in liver failer now because of the heart lower left side is doing all the work! and they have tried to put in 5 difrent stints over the past 3 years and had her on a heart difbulatr for the past 2 of the years she is going fast has of 3 days ago she was at 50% heart compacity and now is just sliping faster and faster!! this is a hard time for me because she is in TX. Semore TX. To be more to the point!

I don't know if any of you knew him but Jimmy Kelly the bartender and part owner of the Kelly Depot Bar (downtown on Kellogg) died a few days ago - alcoholism, liver failure. He was 42 years old. I had know idea he was that bad. Good guy and funnier than hell. His funeral was at the St. Paul Cathedral on New Years Eve.
HEH - my daughter just came back from Hendersonville, and sounds like they had some snow. She said it's like the world is coming to an end when it snows there...
My daughter's new sister-in-law dated him a couple of years ago. The last time she saw him she hardly recognized him he was so thin. Nice guy. I have another friend who owned a bar who died the same way years ago. Owned O'Neil's, which is now Celts.
Years ago, when I was still single and I use to go down there more frequently... Jimmy and I always had a running joke that if we were to marry my name would be Kelly Kelly. He knew EVERY postal worker by name that came in the joint.

Hey Mr. M.
Just thought I would let you know if you haven't heard...my hubby passed away from cancer on Aug 11th...
We were in the middle of selling the house so I had to continue...so I will be moving tomorrow...
I will be off line until my house is ready to move in on Nov 1st and then I will be on line soon after..
I will be checking my emails once in awhile and any other messages...
I've told Jason (Zephyrus),..if you speak to him tell him to keep his head low....and that I have him in my prayers and thoughts every day...
Hugs
Froggy/Jeanne
anyone have her address?
I would chip in for a gift or flowers or something.
I'd just send them if I had her address.

Keep her in your thoughts. I know I am.
