So I went into SA and they didn't have anymore buttons left. Kat, do you have any left? If so, can I get two? I will be at the PDG and can pay you then. If not, does anyone have suggestions of where else to get them?
Because it's Tim and he likes to support us Tax Collectors but never hooks up with me prior to the pre-dig!!! What is this Tim the third year we have done this?
its tradition, there is only technically one reason why any of us should miss a pre-dig -- okay 2.... you are in the hospital OR you plan on taking Taters church up on their offer. :frown:
whiney.... WWWWHHHHHHYYYYYY???? it's not the same without you. :frown:
Hey what's the deal with online button registration? Someone posted on the PP board saying that she received an email reply from the PP saying that online registrations are not valid for the medallion hunt. I thought Kat and others in the Cooler said that online registrations were good enough.
I just called Fury Motors and the switchboard gal talked to some people and they weren't sure if the online registration qualifies and suggested mailing in the card. She said to call back tomorrow and talk to Matt Angstman, the sales manager. Appropriate name, Angstman. I'm suffering some angst myself just thinking about it. I didn't keep my card because I don't use the coupons.
On the PP site where there are links having to do with the hunt, there is this. I don't recall seeing that before, but I wasn't really looking. Anyway, when you click on that the article isn't found and when I cut and pasted it to a search nothing was found.
Button registration for the Treasure Hunt: What counts
They've added text to the link I posted above, but the deadline for registering buttons online differs from the date on the page where you actually register your button.

Deadlines: Mailed cards must be postmarked by January 17, 2010 Online Registration must be entered by 11:59 p.m. on January 17, 2010
anyone who doesnt use the coupons on the cards should bring them to pre-dig and leave them on a table or basket or something for others to grab and use.
The carnival kind of dropped the ball on getting buttons out to the stores this year. I spent a couple of hours tonight with my daughter driving around to various SA's looking for buttons for her and her husband. Most said they've been out for over a week. Even tried the sponsor of the hunt, Fury Motors, earlier today and they aren't even selling them. Finally found a broken pack of four that had two buttons left down near CM's on Concord in IGH.
CUB FOODS still has them at their service desks, even though they are not a major sponsor. - I see a lot of messages about SuperAmerica but not Cub - is Cub sold out or what?
