BFG and Myself are going to North Valley park (Hwy 52 to 70th in IGH) at 1:30 today - last minute notice for those coolers at home that want to take a walk in the woods.
BFG was a real trooper - he's still limping a bit from his sore foot. Anyone real desperate for an ancient beat-up driver disk, it's at the bottom of the pond. You'll need hip waders, though - the mud is about 3 feet deeper than the water is.
Ok time to move this thread. No sense in bothering everyone in the Cooler Crew with disc updates
First off, sorry I didn't get back to you about disc with BFG, MD. I tell people I will always be up for playing disc... but I can't always be up for it if someone else gets to me first! My friend Ryan and I made a trek up to Blue Ribbon Pines that day. We would've invited you two, but we left at like 6am to go out there. Ryan was coming off a night shift.
Secondly, anyone who is friends with me on Facebook should check out the BRP pics I put up... it is the nicest course in town. We didn't take a ton of pics because we were in a hurry to get our rounds in, so we will probably get some more next time. If you aren't friends with me, you should add me! I might set up a flickr account to put up all my disc golf pics.
Thirdly, disc tomorrow. Probably late afternoon. A few people are already interested. I am thinking Kaposia... keep it nice and close.
If anyone wants to try Cottage Grove - I strongly suggest doing it NOW. It is a very woodsy and swampy course. Once the greenery grows in, you'll have to deal with woodticks and skeeters in huge numbers. They have a couple Par 2s and Par 4s, so there is quite a variety.
I'm probably going to be available Friday afternoon again, possibly Saturday morning. Next week I'm out of town on vacation.
$5 lets you play all day, as many rounds as you want. As far as time, it usually takes Reggie and me like 2 and 1/2 hours or so to play a round of 27 at BRP.
Played Cottage Grove last night amongst about 45 teenagers. Got a couple new discs (a set for the wife) and a floater disc for the ponds. Got some really decent drives, but approach shots were miserable. Kids out there were impressed anyway.
I can try 1:00 - eat on the road and such. Hey, Cluey - Don't text message - we get charged for it - just call and I promise I'll steer with my knee and set down the burger and answer the phone.
Blue Ribbon Pines is an Hour and 27 minutes from where I work according to Google Maps - 694 in Oakdale is a mess as they are setting up for lane resurfacing - maybe 1:30 would be better for me.
Doesn't Hwy 65 still have a boatload of stoplights? Given the fact I NEVER get out of the office exactly on time I'm committing to 1:30. Do we need sunscreen for this course or is it pretty shady like Kaposia? I've been out a bit lately and my ears are red.
I have my car getting repaired in IGH between roughly 4 and 6 pm, so if anyone wants to do Kaposia and give me a ride, I'm available.

if we don't like it we just cancel subscriptions/and mark as read...

should be..."time to move TO this thread"... i.e. time for me to post disc stuff here rather than on the other threads
haha, that probably makes more sense now.
It was packed out there today. Spring has definitely sprung
Almost aced 15 today. Hit the tree next the basket at ribbon height
