Hence why I suggested County Fairs...

They are always a good place to start and sometimes helps at getting in at the State Fair level...

Cant believe how much getting prints and frames cost. One place was 135 for 0ne. I need Two.

Try a Michaels Arts & Crafts. They often have discounts on framing.

Here's a printable coupon for 55% off custom framing good until July 3.

There's one in Mankato and several in the cities, including Apple Valley.

I like it

I shrunk it to actual size and it looks great!

I would maybe run the address in a single line, all the way across though.

Too many fonts IMHO

I think it needs work.

First, it'll cost you more because it's four color printing.

Second, it's too gender biased towards men. If the idea is to pass them out to get commissioned to do pieces, you need to have a general demonstration of your art that isn't as rough, both with the font and with the biker.

To be clear, ESD, I have nothing but respect for you and enjoy your work wholeheartedly, just want to put your best foot forward. To that end, you want to make sure to have your work be marketable to the largest audience possible. Also, I speak on this because I know about this - in the marketing communication work I do my wife checks my work to make sure I don't do it too, because I constantly do.

Thanks guys I agree to many fonts. I do want the bike or one of my bikes on the card though. Thats the nitch I am shooting for. My goal is to get into Easyriders or another biker magazine. Here are two revisions. Oh found a nice printer 250 color for $15.

Looks good, but "large" should be capitalized so it reads, Illustrator at Large. You generally don't capitalize prepositions in a heading, and "at" is a preposition.

I would consider moving the small text edge right in the corner and stacking it - that would give you space to make it larger and more readable.

A bold, narrow font like the one you are using works OK to a certain size, but generally all tiny texts are more readable using a serif-type of font. I'm not saying you can't use that font - just make it a bit larger.

looking good esd.

I can't say what it is just yet that Sarah has been up to, new in her watercolors... but I started crying and soooo filled with being proud and impressed with something she has been bettering her skill with. funny thing is she doesn't think it is still good enough but I think beauty and 'good enough is in the eye of the beholder. What one may not care for another just can't get enough of.

I just had to post that I am a proud mommy.

Artists are always their own worst critics just keep telling her how good you think she is it necessary for her growth as an artist. I would recommend the book Art and Fear (Observations On the Perils and Rewards of Artmaking) by David Bayles and Ted Orland

Wow, and for a minute, I actually thought it was a photo with the actual players, lol. I'm guessing they were photoshopped in?

They were too realistic to be cardboard standees.
