2011 Park Pick Pool

2011 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt - Battle Creek Park
There will be 50 place numbers sold at $5 each for two boards (25/board). 
The winner of each board gets $125. 
Numbers will be sold during the PDG from 7:00pm - 8:00pm or when sold out. 
People who purchased numbers will then pick their park starting at 8:00pm.

Sorry CM, we got our #s and then left before Marley picked a park - wasn't really sure how it works these days - its been a while since we've done the park pick pool. Can he still pick one -or did he lose his turn for not following the rules? :goofy:

Yeah, the whole place was looking for you guys for quite awhile. Your board was on hold. We decided to have a person who wasn't participating in the PPP to pick your park for you based on what was already picked and seemed a viable choice. Even though Art Vandelay wanted to pick something starting with a Z he went with Harriet Island. I will post the full list later. Waiting for my stenographer to finish up with her responsibilities first.

HaHa - Not this early in the day. Well not today yet anyway. :coolfrown:

It was nice seeing all of you stop by during the PPP. Even though it takes up most of my evening I do get to spend at least some time with many of you even if it was only for the PPP. The confessional seating was a fun aspect this year. Man are there a lot of sinners in this group. :wink: :sheepish:

Reminds me of a poem I wrote quite a few years back - must have come from some comment AW made about sins, but I really don't recall.

Anyway, FWIW, here it is:

The Scribe wrote on his posting slate

And posted for all to see

"If faithÂ’s anewÂ’

Then why donÂ’t you

All come to mass with me?"

And one replied, "CanÂ’t go inside

For long have I feared the worst

For much IÂ’ve scoffed

And pissed Him off

And into flames IÂ’ll burst."

Or maybe I never really thought

That any harm could come

But IÂ’ll err on the side of being sure

And with the priests, stay mum.

But IÂ’ll tell you

A sin or two

Though imagined or real they be

And whether theyÂ’re lies

Or super-size

My conscience can be set free.
