I know it is posted somewhere but have no idea where- I'm looking for that web site that gives the free credit report without signing up for stuff. no strings attached. Anyone know it? I don't think it's the creditreport.com and definitely not the one where they sing on the commercial.
Big hugs to you. Glad you could let us know what's going on, and that you are OK. Thanks for the nice discussion Saturday evening. You have a good heart.
Reggie and I went to visit him last night. Not to go into too much detail on here, but it seems like Jeremy is doing fine. He thinks he'll be out sometime tomorrow. Reggie might be going back tonight if anyone else wants to go too. Visiting hours are from 6 to 8.
We recently purchased a stove and dishwasher. After weeks of shopping around, it became evident that dishwashers are basically built to be "disposable" appliances. Few offer more than 1 year warranty. Warners Stellian did carry at least one higher line (Asko, I think) that came with a 5 year. But you can expect to pay $1000 or more.
Warner's DID have several "closeout" models the few times we visited. They were models "regularly" priced at $700-800 that were discounted maybe $300.
Ultimately, we wound up purchasing from Plaza Appliance on Robert street in St. Paul. The stove was the deal - (ceramic cooktop/convection oven for less than $500) - and since I knew I wanted THAT stove from THAT store, the dishwasher decision was not as big of a deal. We wound up with a Maytag with a stainless interior and have been happy with it so far. They had some less expensive ones too.
I'd check out All Inc on Plato first. They have a scratch and ding area where they have really good deals on appliances. Often the imperfection is somewhere it wouldn't show anyway.
ok folks just stopping by to say HI!!! I am going to be leaving here tomorrow that would be Thursday! from what I keep getting told!! I am in OT right now! and I am starting to feel really good Right now I am looking how I am going to get my stuff From Emily's and find a place to stay for a few days maybe a few weeks then to my own place!! I need to wash my hands of her for my health to move forword!
I was just by there a few minutes ago while leaving J's place. I'll stop by there tomorrow. And check out the rest of your suggestions as well since I know where each of those are too. Thanks you guys. Good help
SEARS has 2 outlet centers- minneapolis and coon rapids... they sell last years models and discontinued items, warranties are still good and you can do financing also. They've got cool stuff there. We bought our riding lawn mower from the one in coon rapids.
We have bought appliances there. They have new and scratch-n-dent stuff at huge discounts. Many locations and huge displays. The location in Maplewood has far more models on display that your typical showroom. That location is an old grocery store.
They do ship... not sure about taking the old appliances -I think so. I remember the sales clerk saying that they offer everything a regular Sears store would. Plus they can check other sears outlets and have it shipped to them.
The place was mostly appliances, but had other cool stuff there - tools, exercise equipt, lawn mowers, rec room games, etc. I got a 100 piece drill bit set for $7.
The one in Coon Rapids is right across the road from Northtown mall.
Hi welcome!! Kinda slow right now, but we are here year round. Picks up a lot during the hunt of course! Keep your log in info handy! (actually, I never log out that way I'm always in)
There are plenty of things to look for during non-hunt season... there is a minor league hunt folder (small town hunts, online hunts, contests, etc) and Ian hosts a separate geocaching folder.
I got my dishwasher at Rice Street Sears. They delivered it to the house. Got a deep freeze too. Very pleasant to deal with. 5 years now, still all working well.
My 99-year-old aunt, who just moved to a smaller assisted living home a week ago, and was having a rough adjustment, just found out today that her book was republished. She's been waiting for this, and it is really helping her adjust at her new place.
I got super duper awesome Bosch at the Warner's Stellian warehouse sale and it is totally worth the money. It uses less energy and instead of lasting for the typical 10-13 years that a whirlpool or maytag will, it lasts for 20 years. I would say that if you want a screaming deal on something Appliance Smart is the way to go.
I have an autographed copy of that book. I can hardly wait to share that with grandkids.
My father-in-law is now in a care center in Willmar to get some therapy. Thankfully, he's much better from the reports we got from Inks' brother today.
My mother is having some troubles. I don't think it's terribly serious at this point, but we are sticking close to the phone in case she needs help.
Seems there is always something. I'm just glad that Inks' brother is out west with that going on with the FIL and we can be here to take care of my mom when she needs it.

Sears has an appliance-only store in Tamarack Village too - next to Dick's Sporting Goods.

Hey everyone - Charles (St Anthony Sleuth) is new to the forum and won one of the free subscriptions handed out at the RHB last Sunday.
Please welcome our new noodler.

We had our Valentine's Day celebration with her and the rest of the family this afternoon. It all turned out very well.
What a gorgeous day!
