I found the double use of the double dash interesting, but I think it clearly relates to the Mario Brothers Double dash Nintendo game which actually is a physical demonstration of what is needed to retrieve the puck, and includes an average jug head hopping to the top of a tree (high over a trail), swinging on a rope (swinging motion = arch), and then dropping inside a box which will then slide (sled) to a foul smelling location where you can secure the treasure without defeat or fail. This is clearly their plan for men (and women), but where?
Didn't one year we realized its just supposed to be a em dash but it comes out as a double dash? I know I have freaked out about that a few years back too.
The double hyphen (=, ゠, or ⸗) is a punctuation mark that consists of two parallel hyphens. It is not to be confused with two consecutive hyphens (--), which are often used to represent an em dash (—) or en dash (–).
I am pretty new to hunting - only about 4 years- but trying to noodle and not just troll. Could sled mean snow mobile. my friends call their snow mobiles "sleds". any snow mobile trails in any of the parks or public land?
I think they can snowmobile in Maplewood near keller lake. Im sure they can in some other parts of the county as well. No snowmobiling in St paul at all.
no ones mentioned the sledding hill near the archery range at keller yet? The hill comes down from the keller chalet into the area by the archery range. I really like zephs nature over the trail thing being frost. Fits perfectly.
Jack is a spirit and the personification of crisp, cold, winter weather, a variant of Old Man Winter. He is also at times shown as a mischief-making spirit, carefree and happiest when he can behave as he pleases. With no obligations, he is able to flourish. Jack Frost is said to be a friendly spirit, but can be very dangerous because if one were to insult him he would cover that person with snow or turn them into frost.
He is traditionally thought to leave the frosty, fern-like patterns on windows on cold winter mornings (window frost or fern frost) and nipping the extremities in cold weather. He is sometimes described or depicted with paint brush and bucket coloring the autumnal foliage red, yellow, brown, and orange.[2] In some versions, Jack Frost is friendly, but kills his victims by covering them with snow if provoked. On the other hand, other versions depict him as a kinder being who only wishes to enjoy himself and bring happiness to others. He is often portrayed as an older man, though other depictions show him as a young adult or a teenager.
In more modern mythology he is often the being that parents will warn their child of in frosty winter mornings before they go outside, as it is said he will pull tricks on them and cause their extremities to become cold.
I was thinking that maybe there's a NO SNOWMOBILING sign somewhere nearby. There have been clues in the past elluding to signage - yarrow, playground, etc.
Far for me... and I cant find my nice light... I was given a surefire light that is awesome for these early clues where I dont necessarily dig as much as need to spotlight what is around me. Best flashlight I have ever had, but I would never pay to get another...
Take out the parentheses and you still have a rhyme. Seems to be referring to a rainbow.

An N would be like this -.
This is a T -
no defeat - look back at clue 6 for 2004 hunt - defeat = failing
no fail - meaning no phalen park
just my thoughts....
what were other parks or places that things got screwed up?
Never made it to Keller but I really wanted to.
Tomorrow brings a new clue.
So, who is "he" in the clue? Jack frost?

success,
Maybe you don't take it at face value...
take it as you will, but the maplewood signs on Frost are arches with a maple leaf inside of them (nature...)
