Ares-I did have French class with Rulli, but I coudn't stand her and the feeling was mutual. Do you remember me arguing with her in class? I certainly do. I don't think she every got over the fact that I liked Mr. Svanoe better as a teacher. Thanks for the update on Cathi.
the arguing sounds familiar. although you did miss a great year in that class in 94-5. the handful of us that were in fr. 4 or 5, it's all a haze to me, were the biggest collection of cut-ups anyone ever saw.
My last year of school I was only in class half days because I was taking classes at the U, so I didn't even consider taking a language. I do wish I had a better grasp of French. I have figured out that I know enough french to get yelled at while I was in Paris.
don't feel bad, 5 years later, i don't remember most of what i learn (merde being the one good exception :). although i think a good chunk of it is going to be making a hasty return. we're starting to localise our software into french.
I actually wish I would have taken Spanish, but I like the sound of French better so thats what I went with. Good luck with the software. I barely know how to install software, let alone software that I'd have to worry about translating.
well, for lack of anything better to do, i did take a "year" worth of spanish my senior year. i probably should have taken spanish, but i liked the sound of french better, too. thankfully, i don't have to translate anything, though i intend to get my fingers in it, but it'll be nice to at lesat have a few people on site who can read what's going on (unlike the japanese we just got done with).
