Greg Sax: Went to sleep before I saw your post last nite. Met Cheryl here. I read she lived near CP, so started asking her questions. Kind'a picked up BW (Black Widow) the same way!!!
C and I have been talking a couple times a day from work, mulling over ideas. Maybe I'll be back out there to nite with hat and meet her.
BW: Keep thinking girl!!! The Planteers will get together when this is all over and make plans.
so who else was out to the wee hours in the morning looking for that darn thing and now finding themselves up for work and having visions of pots of coffe in there heads. Capaccinio here i come. At this rate caffen and nicotene will be the only thing in my blood.
We looked untill 2am and found absolutely nothing. found some coolers [2] but not true coolers they were only in the game for a couple of days.
Anyone read;y to kill the pioneer press staff for these damn clue this year?
Well, I'm going to try it one more time. Every time I'm sure I know where it is... it ain't. Today I'm betting on the Ballpark - at this point, its part hunch, part inspiration and part dumb luck. And I'm starting to feel mighty stupid.
Hey, when do they bury the treasure? Are you sure they have done it yet? Maybe they will do it tonight? Is it legally registered somewhere when they do that? Are you sure it's been buried? Maybe everyone's been wasting their time? This year's clues have been lousy. Didn't get into it. By now the feaver is high, not this year. How about some history on this. Does anyone know when in fact the treasure is buried and how do you authenticate that?
There's no set time. Although quite a few years back, a couple of old ladies found out who hid the medallion. They would follow him to where he buried it and they found it a few years in a row.
So the hubby and I waited in the cold for the paper and when we finally got it we were stumped!!!!!! (Waiting in the cold freezes up your brain!) Usually we are here, on line, with you guys. We race to the park to see everyone by the sliding hill and we cannot figure out this clue. All we wished is that we could get some help from our CC buddies. We left to come home and log on. Thanks much for your fine brain work! Like the Winona idea
Live update, from the site: LOTS of people (200+). Concentrated by the Winona Jct of Chip. It's a feeding frenzy! Fun to be out, if you can, get here in the next day-morning would be a VERY good time. It's here, somewhere, along with my left glove and car keys....Again, luck to WC's.
I hate to contradict myself but what about this interpretation: An earlier clue mentioned a place to play. Now we have this clue, To stay in our game (baseball) and earn some fame (Hall of famers)
You'll need to find the right zone (strike zone)
Just stay near locals (homeplate) which claim
A sugary loaf (Babe Ruth) and yellow stone (Yogi was a local of Jellystone, may be a stretch to connect to Yogi Berra the catcher).
Babe Ruth was a pitcher at one time, but most definitely a batter. It sounds like it may be near home plate.
BeeYoB listen up if you can get in there right next to the street (chippewa) and directly accross from Winona there are 3 tire tracks going up and over the curb into the park finish digging around them for me I'll bet they are there. Clue # 6 If you're on the wrong track don't blow your stack just look for a plume of smoke in the skies with this in view you'll soon be back in hunt for our valuable prize!
Just back from "the site". Looks like some sort of disater rescure or something. Remember, Babe Ruth was left handed and hit many out of the park right feild homers. You can't see the pyramids from home plate. I still like the top of the sledding hill - but it's been dug to oblivion!!!
So Zocher, what do you think? -seri
Hey, what happend to all the people who were claiming they found it? I kind of miss them.(jk)

sorry, I actually knew that. My bad.

its in a spot thats been dug up already
Good point Dr. Livingston...
Be sure and mention your pals in the Water Cooler when you're at the press conference for finding the medallion!
Dr.Linvingston, why wouldn't you find it yourself. I think your on to something!
A baseball pitcher has to stay find the right zone or he will be taken out of the game

LOts of ground not dug up out there. Whoever says Cherokee is all dug up has deinitely never looked
for the medallion. Went out last night, for 5 hours, I like the south end of the park from winona street
down to annapolis. Somewhere in there. I dug mostly in some truck tracks right at winona and chippewa can see
smokestack and pyramids rising from snow from there, but many other possibilities. Got to meet the infamous
Kurt Condie too. Always fun, good luck someone. Keep Posting!

High ground = Pitcher's mound?
To keep up the pace and win the race in a baseball game you certainly don't want to wander to and fro! You want to head home as quickly as possible.
Worthwhile tip=foul tip caught by the catcher?
This may all be stretching a bit, but the field is on Annapolis by Chippewa.
BeeYoB, You See them still???
