Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Another time...can't remember what year...there were clues that indicated high ground and everyone thought for sure it was Highland.
The water tower is only open to the public 1 day out of the year sometime in October (?) and is designated the highest point (think when you are actually at the top of the water tower looking out)
Note: I learned that on the St. Paul City Channel :)
I cannot figure out what carnival hunter's pride is....I do think it is significant, but all I can think of is the button, but certainly that wouldn't apply. Is it saying we need to be bold to find medallion, thus diverting ONCE AGAIN back to Como? geez, i hope not
Im not sure whats going on with this golf course thing because no matter where it was hidden they would always say in clue one or two to stay off of the golf course. Maybe this year they decided to put it in the rules so they wouldnt have to waste a clue on it.
np rex, dad works for the st paul water utility and feeds me with some info. he also works at the highland tower open house, so i know the times and history of the tower. i have helped him a few years.
me2 the tower is the highest point including buildings. it depends on how you look at it. if all buildings were leveled, the highest point would be at hillcrest, otherwise the tower. i would love to get up there during the hunt... DAD!!!
It would certainly take ALOT of pride and stubborness to hunt Como again. And wouldn't the giant slide be perfect for these clues, as I am sure everyone is thinking 2 things---1.Will NOT be at Como again 2. The slide they are referring to would be TOO obvious to be the giant slide. Let's face it, Como is synonomous with the whole winter carnival, and where better to show your pride? But again, I sure hope not. They would soon have to call this the Como Park medallion hunt

Was that the year it was at Cherokee or Mounds?
Highland is out.
Three words folks - ONLY CLUE THREE
time to kill - golfing even though they state to stay away from the golf course it can still be in the park
tim..its not gonna be at Harriet
I thought the cathedral was on the highest point in st. paul?
hello from the selby-dale area. I like Highland but am not tossing out mounds or battle still
I know. She was just saying that the same guy that made the old highland tower made the pavilian at HI.
I'm leaning towards Battle Creek. It seems to me that they've always mentioned to stay off the golf course in the clues when they're worried about it.
'night all--see ya in the a.m.
The TRUE highest point in st paul (land only, not including buildings) is located at hillcrest golf course. one of the tees(not sure which).

Was Hillcrest just brought up again? I like it

is anyone going out tomorrow I wanna go where is battle creek
me2- it is open 4 days a year(2 weekends) one in the fall, one for the highland art festival.
thanks tim! (ex caddy from hillcrest, shoulda known that..)
hillcrest is still in the running.

Angie: I94 to Ruth St, go south and you run into it
my hunter's pride, tom, would tell me that it wouldn't be at como again. so if i'm showing it, i'm not thinking como. but that's just me.
FINE TTH-I am just repeating what they said on the City Channel :)
Where is this hillcrest?
np rex, dad works for the st paul water utility and feeds me with some info. he also works at the highland tower open house, so i know the times and history of the tower. i have helped him a few years.
thanks Teddy is that just St. Paul
nitol! clue 3....clue 3... no sleep, must think.... hey look what's on tv..
aaaah, COMO PRIDE? good one Ares-that was my theme in highschool Como Cougar Pride
What would any hunter's pride be? The game/kill? The gun/shovel?
Geez, 10 minutes late, and an extra half hour trying to catch up!! Question for all, are we clue talking, or smokin bud in here?
The word trip is interesting here too.
The GUN?? Good GOD TERRY- You DO take this hunt seriously!!!!!!!!
me2 the tower is the highest point including buildings. it depends on how you look at it. if all buildings were leveled, the highest point would be at hillcrest, otherwise the tower. i would love to get up there during the hunt... DAD!!!
But Me2, Highalnd would have pride, credtin would have pride, allmost any highschool with a park name has pride.
It's ouT!
hunters pride = depth insurer

Not me. Nope. No gun here. You'd know better if you knew me.
I'm just asking about what any hunter's pride would be. Trying to tie something into the carnival hunter's pride.
Trophy.
we are supposed to have PARK pride.
Like someone said earlier, a pack of lions is a pride
clue # 3. Time and tide, fun and slide Down the hill, far from the woods Show that carnival hunter's pride And you may trip over the goods
Where's Roosevelt (Rooseveldt)?
trip alone, doesn't frighten me half as much as the phrase "trip over the goods" does, terry.
hahahaha-just call dad to bail you out.
Hillcrest behind the Library in Highland Pk? I thought of that earlier today but didn't know its name, I thought maybe it was just a ball field-WOW!
Merriam is high, good sledding, close to river, and lots knitted hats lying around, and is far and wide from prior locations
many parks still fit flat ones are less likely still no water?? or golf
if you "trip over the goods"--that is basically like tripping across the street to the mall (goods)?
So if we're tripping over the goods, perhaps it is in a huge box of Tide!
Terry, where's Rooseveldt (Roosevelt)?
JOE!!!
not exactly the goods i was thinking about, me2, especially when combined with the trip, and having time to kill, and... :)
