Clue 1

Another season’s come and gone;
We suffered through a winter long.
We had rain, but there was drought,
Of that there just can’t be a doubt.

Here in Jordan, we are fine.
Long as hunters toe the line.
Seek the coin on public land.
Don’t go digging in the sand.

Admire the trees but don’t go climbing.
Avoid the vines over creeks inviting.
Gold is hidden fair and square,
Go and find it but beware.

In the piece there is a flaw,
Hurts our nerves, already raw.
Find the coin, then “oops,” then holler.
I, the Cluester, award one dollar.

Your festival team has been so hard at work
Your chance to find gold now is surely a perk
For being in Jordan where all hold a party
So get out and find it and prove you’re a smarty

Midst Fishing and Fringes and old Aquatennial
Heimatfest coin hunt is our own perennial
No fringes for us now; we stay close to home
The hideout for gold horde’s our clue not to roam

Seeking the big coin? Grab backpack and sneakers
When tootsies need rest you can sit on the bleachers
Dream of our colors while stretching your feet out
Maybe your toe will locate it and give it a rout

Do let your instincts as well as brains guide you
No ‘roon and gold? How ‘bout gold and blue
Seldom is all what it outwardly shows
Success to the hunter whom to small places goes

Spring is gone and summer’s here
Oops! There goes another year
Summer’s leaving, going places
Fall runs by on summer’s traces

When you look at foliage green
And with birds you would be seen
Take a moment to enjoy
Thoughts of winter’s icy ploy

Ice is fun but oh, so slippery
Plus you pile on more than frippery
Lace those boots, those coats, those skates
Ice at Christmas! Let’s plan dates

Hit that puck so it flies far
Sports at night can see a star
Mom and pop on river banks
Relive mem’ries old, give thanks
