Clue 1

The White Bear hunt is over this year
The Oakdale hunt was the early week cure
Now it’s Blaine and our treasure hunt gig
It’s time to become both Lil’ and Big

Remember to heed all of our treasure hunt rules
Damaging property just makes you a fool
No need to climb a fence – take heed
For seeing one is something you’ll need

The official meaning of the clue.

White Bear Lake and Oakdale are both communities that have treasure hunts on the east side of the Twin Cities. Lil’ and Big refers to Lil’ Bo and Big Sam, who formed the musical rap group “The East Side Boys”. Obviously, the clue makes reference to Eastside Park in Blaine, the location of the medallion in 2024.

Look for a place with lots to do
Fields and a playground, just for you
Something new, and something is missing
You’ll have to look at an old park listing

The official meaning of the clue.

Makes reference to a tennis court that was removed from the park recently, along with a recent addition of a picnic shelter.

Colors galore around treasured location
Blue and grey make a good hunting vocation
Orange as well and you’ll be close to Home
Look near where the animals roam

The official meaning of the clue.

Blue and grey are the colors of the playground. Orange is the color of the Home Depot building and sign, which are visible in areas near the treasure location. The treasure is hidden near a small holding pond with a barely visible trail in the grass that deer have created to get water.

Your arrow is up, fly away, fuel your hunt passion today
You chime in on your hunger, freckles will pay
Your ten gallon hat, a forbidden fruit
You fill your belly, you get the loot

In case you’re lost, and not sure to go
A park to the East, and make sure you look low
This side of the city, we must say it’s pretty
With Birch and Pine, and other trees galore

The official meaning of the clue.

The first letter of each line is a Y. The treasure is hidden not far from a Y in the path at Eastside Park. The key here is the fuel and food sign visible from the treasure site across 35W. The second stanza tells you it’s Eastside park and mentions specific kinds of trees close to the treasure site.

Clue 5

Not sure what to do? Here is our last and final clue
Eastside Park, look for the food and fuel sign
And a beheaded birch, you don’t need to align
Look for path straight to the water, look between for the treasure hunt fodder.
