I'm with you jusme. I don't buy Crosby. I was out there today and it just didn't feel right. For God sake people are getting lost out in the woods for hours at a time!
I think people being able to get lost in the park is the whole idea. I think with no snow, they had no choice but to go with a huge wild park. Otherwise, someone could have found it before any clues were even published.
Yeah, lil, I see your point. I still have my doubts. That aside, it is a great park. Really quite scenic. I run and bike through there in the Summer.
all done sloggin again. Was out at Crosby for a couple hours today. Checked a few interesting areas out, some that seemed to fit many of the clues nicely, but nothing to fit completely, unless there's not many clues to give a direction.
Guessin tonight's clue will be more of the same, at least I'm getting used to the park and what's there, so hopefully somethign in the clue will pop out at me. Secretly I'm still waiting for the 10th clue changeup. And I'd really like to know how much snow fell between the placement of the puck and our current situation.
perhaps they rigged some fishing line up in the park, so that when you walk through the right spot, you trip the wire, and the puck falls on the ground in front of you.
Sorry to hear you've got the crud, lilslim! We've been through it here the past days and weeks too. I wasn't feeling to good last night after work, but it did improve. Tonight it's my oldest that is feeling icky.Â
We dropped our shovels at Crosby for a short while early this afternoon, in between the vet visit and the movie, which was a blast, even the 2nd time. Someone used the word "uninspiring" about Crosby....that about fits my feelings on it too. I'm pretty sure that's where it'll be - but it just doesn't *feel* right to me.
After being up till 3 and 6 hours of sleep (which is actually a lot more than I'm used to), I'm staying in unless our next clue hits something that means something from what we saw today. Planning on going out at first light tomorrow.
Mom, it was I who shared my unspriring thoughts towards Crosby. It's not that I don't like the park, it just seems we didn't have to work that hard to narrow it down.Â
I was out at Crosby for a short while with my kids today and didn't even bother bringin a shovel.Â

We had 2 of the girls (the youngest was with my mom), a couple rakes, a shovel, and another tool, kind of like a small, bent pitchfork. That one was really old and ultimately came apart before I was done with it. My usual favorite tool is missing. Haven't scoured the garage for it yet though.
I just used my GPS and marked out areas I thought had potential. Had a rake with me to check some spots, but ultimately it served more use as a walking stick.
Not alone jusme.
I'd rather be at GW, PP, or hunting. Parenting duties take priority for me tonight.Â

I think there are two clues to each one: a fake Crosby (yarrow, homer, etc) and the real clue.Â

BC is still heavily in the running in my mind.
I just talked to Regman, been out at the paper since 8. About 10 people in line. He will call me at 11 with the clue, so I will post it ASAP.
Cool.
That's dedication. Makes a fellow cooler proud.

That would truely be inspiring.

We're here. Lurking and ready to pounce.
Hello Everyone!
Uninspired is a good word. Hope this clue gives us more than it's at Crosby.Â
lilslim - so sorry to ready you're under the weather. Not good timing at all. Hope you are much, much better soon.
