Some of the stuff we can get to wear is plenty warm.
I'm not wearing my stuff in the park unless we're just messing about early in the hunt. I'll wear it to the bars, around the carnival and in line. But when we go to dig i'm back in my gear.
It was great seeing everyone at the RHB! And in response to previous posts, I vote for a calendar with Cooler guys in tights & tiaras (capes optional). Deep down inside, that's what I really want to see...  :)
And, to cater to the Cooler Boy/Girl need in each of us to dress up in costume (evidence of all the previous postings), I plan on doing a hunt in October (if there's interest). A Halloween Hunt if you will. I've done one other hunt and it was a lot of fun. Marley King and Regman were the winners.Â
I would like it if we could agree, as a group, on a logo. I like ESD's newest one with the snow and the tools.
Thats what I'm putting on the CC Banner for Great Waters. If thats OK. She finally called me back and I'm getting one for us to hang at GreatWaters or wherever.
I liked the idea of having crew buttons to share and maybe more flashy stuff to hand out.
Thats ok with me. Buttons and logo headbands/scarves etc. That is all.
how about miner hats? you know, the ol hard helmet sorta thing with a really nice headlamp.. goes good with the tools.. fits the morning sam evening raplh thing...?
This would be OK too.
Maybe we can get a label on some cooler crew beer.
Maybe we CANreally do this with Great Waters. Lets see if we can get them to name a seasonal brew for us? Anybody?? They had WinterCarnival beer why not Cooler Crew beer?
I thought the whole "Water Cooler" thing was about ordinary working people hunting for the medallion, not pirates or firemen or whatever.
I'm still torn....I agree the pirate thing still is a little 2 far out there for me....but its just for fun....I just can't see myself DIGGIN in it....
But I like the idea that KORN came up with...because...well....I'm still like my fireman's hat ideas....same line of thinkin'....I can put a headlamp on it...custom painted etc....
The Jacket would be a bonus or something I could buy down the road.......then get the pants with suspenders....
....maybe new smaller logo with just CC and tools...more like a crest......the bigger new logo is good with the snow.......
I think the logo's are not just something to be "satisfied" with....Like I've said....getting a stiching pattern set up is not cheap...you don't want to be UNHAPPY with spending $$$.......
but would be cooler to have an "unofficial stitching biz" that we could bring any item of clothing there to have the logo put on ....like a hat, shirt, jackets, etc...
I'd also like to point out that Pirates like the booty

 this year in line was very warm.....I'm worried about a cold year....
The pirate thing would allow us to wear layers and still keep the effect outside.

AW kind of has his own pirate thing going anyway with swash buckler shirt and hat - wouldnt be tough for him he has a sword in his cane too

At least I can where a fireman's jacket that is stitched with a coolercrew logo on it....
But you won't get beat up going into Bugg's Bar with 7 of us dressed like Pirates.

I just ordered a banner sign for us at great waters. Don't know the cost yet. Maybe about $40 or more. I told her to go ahead and make it.
