so, basically......that place wont be there for that much longer either..
why would Old Mexico buy the place twice?
like some team of genius's that decide to buy the properties are sitting around in a room and one of them says "Yeah... theres this one place in Woodbury, Minnesota, heres the address yadda, yadda, yadda..
and then then someone else says "We already had that place, and it didt work out very good.... but what the heck... maybe people in that area like our food better now, and miss us being around..."
You can't believe what I went through, waiting for e-mail or phone call. On my way to watch Kollin bowl, and a nice lady called me up. Time to get rid of her "stuff"
Got my stuff. Her photo was hard to see, and when I blew it up, things were blurred. Guess what? It includes the Vulcan buttons from 1950 on, and 100's of Royal Guard, Winds, postcards, 1917 program, and a Rollicking Realm of Boreas (price 10 cents), written by Frank Madden, and autographed by him. Frank did the audio for "The Royal Legend" and he was Boreas Rex III, in 1937.
Whew!
I'll have a ton of buttons along tonight, and a few checklists if you need one.
pee and beer almost look alike but beer pee is most likely clear. If Jake was to fulfill that bet, I'd drink beer pee if I was him. :lipsealed:
good luck on the 4 year button sets, those tend to go for more money. I finally got the last set I needed though, thanks to Ian.
I figure I have time now to finish my set, I'll just keep an eye on ebay and buy the ones I need one at a time. Shouldn't be too hard to finish the 52-present series (obviously the hunt years, where having a button meant extra $$$).
1999 (which seems to be the hardest set to get, I'm fortunate I got a full set on ebay, all auctioned individually, was half expecting to just win 1 or 2)
I know when they were selling older multi button sets at the "winter carnival store" that they were going for 1.50 a piece. I will try to let you guys know if we find them selling stuff again.
If I wasnt a Vikings fan I would think they specialized in baked purple people ---eeeewwww --imagine if they burnt your dinner
I know I'll be going to Matty Bs alot if he buys it --- mostly cause of the Vikings tie as well as I love that place!

anyone have one of these???
I hope Grandma's condition improves, and I have given her name to some very influential prayer chains.
However, the 100 bucks or so for a 1886 doesn't seem so bad anymore. Heh.
