a fire pit...
we got it from Big Lots, last night, on sale for.... 69 bucks...
heres some pics of it, and how we have our setup lookin right now...
It came with the black bench on the left...
we had to put everything together ourselves...
at Central park...
hahahahahaha..... (evil laughter)
I cruised through there, last week, and noticed a humongous pile of fire wood, next to the fire ring....
tonight was a perfect reason to go get it....
nearly all of it too...
the picture doesnt do the pile justice.... we have a massive amount of stolen wood.
eh... but the city of Roseville owed us anyhow... :cool:
looked like somebody had one either tonight, or last night sometime, too from how the fire ring looked.
It looked like they had cut down a buncha trees in the park (theres still a big half tree laying there), and just piled it all up by the pit.... but it was mixed in with some various "house-hold" wood too.... like fence post pieces, or whatever...
loaded up the trunk/hatchback of my Saab, a couple of times... made two seperate trips out there....
just drove the car, right down the path, from that side road, right up to the fire ring, and threw a bunch in, the first time...
when we went back, the second time, we brought a big f'n cooler with, and just put a buncha the wood in there, and hauled it out on a dolly-cart thing we had....
made it much easier.... only had to make 3 trips to and from the car...
came back here, and used up some of the smaller pieces, having our first fire in our new pit :smile:
